Are we giving up on Cortez or is the thought that he and Lewis could be a good tandem?
Problem is they're paying Cortez pretty big money (another epic Tombert personnel fail) so I think they'll keep him until his contract runs out, even if it's just on ST's. Huge cap hit if they cut him and then you still have to pay his replacement.

I don't disagree but they need to hire a sports psychologist or something.Everyone was so worried about him not getting locked up because of losing Lewis, then they sign him, and everyone liked the deal. He has a bad year (much like Ike has had in the past) and all of a sudden it's a failed signing, typical of Tomlin and Colbert. Get real, enough with the revisionist 20/20 hindsight bullshit.
Allen still has A LOT of potential, and he's the type of player that will put in the work to get better. You don't give up on someone like that because of one year, that's what the Texans did and we ended up with McCain. That's how we got Farrior as well. Give Allen a shot at redemption before ushering him out the door. You can't teach his size/speed combo.
Any thought that maybe the front office/tomlin see's how fa and the draft go then after june 1 we cut him and use the 5.63 mil to sign the rookie class? He would still cost us 1.350 mil but that would save money and cap space for the rooks and any vet fa we might need at that time? Not saying this is what is gonna happen but maybe this is their thinking.

I hope Tombert has a Plan B.
That's pricey. After we draft a corner early he would have been our 4th corner.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah They didn't even have a ******* plan A

First there was @SeanSMITH24 then @RJStanford25 & now @McCain21 will don the Aqua & Orange. From @Utah_Football to @MiamiDolphins Congrats!
Blake is younger and has much more upside than McCain. And if Cortez gets some counseling, he is at least equally talented as McCain with much more size.
Boy, oh boy - I don't like where we are right now...
