Tomlin is doing a bad job and he still may be the 5th best coach in the NFL. That's because NFL coaching has never been weaker. Go ahead. try to start a list of head coaches who are better than Tomlin.

That's it. Who else could you put ahead of Tomlin? Dan Campbell? Maybe he can win something first. Sean McVey? He inherited a great defense and string run team. He added Stafford to get them over the hump. SInce then the team has eroded.

The Browns have lost FAR MORE players to injury this season, but don't need the excuse. Sad to say.

I have no doubt Tomlin is going to get an extension. We just have to hope for an overhaul of his staff and to actually make some good hires for once.
