If Rudy Struggles

The other thing I noticed about Rudy… is I believe he threw one ball in the middle of the field..everything else was outside hashes..
Slant to 14 for 6 was the only ball I recall between the hash marks?

Dare I say he ran Canada’s offense almost to perfection?
That's a given if they build a lead, they might throw some sit downs to the tight end but it's the way Tomlin wants it.

Think he can maintain that? Or was it simply no more than a backup with a good game?
The Bengals defense stinks, I think. He won't put up those numbers every week, but it's the first start to finish competent QB performance we've seen since Roethlisberger. The biggest thing was a QB who knew how to navigate the pocket and it showed us that even a mediocre QB could get this offense cooking while working out of a bad scheme.

My point is..
The offensive scheme seemed to work fine?

34 points wins a lot of games..

I knew it would get lost on you. This season one has played better than the other. My point is nobody should be calling for a career backup to start long term.

You are the king at comparing everything. Only good when you do it huh?❄️

Nobody is saying Kenny is Joe, but he hasn't been labeled a career backup yet.

But by all means continue foaming at the mouth.
And that career backup just put up a better game than Kenny ever has. Of course anyone that knew football wouldn’t say they know Rudolph is a nothing more than a career backup. But keep dying on that hill. It just helps everyone here see how little you know about football.

I somewhat agree. I just think it just might have been the perfect set of circumstances driving the result.

I would be more impressed with a duplicate performance.

Either or team needs more consistent QB play. This bedtime story still has a mystery factor.

The Steelers finally "lucked" into a productive game from the offense and the backup QB. Odds alone should've had the Steelers with more than one game like this over the past few years. I think we'll learn a lot about the Steelers QB situation based on the starter next week.

Your insults don't make you right. It just makes you a pompous pencil pusher that thinks he is smarter than he is.

Again your opinion means absolutely nothing to me.❄️🤡

You're right, the circumstances were perfect, but it's circumstances we've had set up many times in the past only to gain 250 yards of offense and put 16 points on the board. The offense actually did what they were supposed to do against a bad defense. It was a lot of fun and a great home finale as a result.

Definitely.

I am also eager to see how Kenny responds. I know he had to be glued in as well.

I think if Mason finishes the season playing good he might play himself out of Pittsburgh. Dumping Mitch might save money but there’s nothing holding Mason here. If he plays well the last couple of games or even just next week if Tomlin brings Kenny back vs the Rats I think he tests free agency. I think he probably wants to go where he has the best opportunity to play. So far the coaching staff hasn’t done that for him here

The coaching staff hasn't helped any of the QBs. The same as last year, good luck if he leaves and finds a better opportunity. As it stands today, I'm tired of not winning playoff games and would be in favor of bringing in a veteran QB as starter or the ability to compete for the starting role next season.

No, but my being right makes me right. You being wrong makes you an idiot.

Geeze all this ****ing yourselves at Christmas time..... Give it a rest. I was in between watching the game and doing umpteen Christmas things all at once, but Mason looked way better in the pocket making reads, than Kenny has all year long, on the plays I watched.

The prick started to throw out insults you know his usual. So he gets what he deserves.

We all do cheer for the same team right?

Just like in life some people are simply just colossal tools. He is one of them.
