Texans about to let Andre Johnson go

Yep that would be a pretty good landing spot or even Denver or possibly San Diego.

So they have no QB or no WR now......

Injury prone, past his prime...has Washington or Raiders written all over it.

Terrell Owens Jr. (physically at end of career), No need for him here................... Keep the line moving, unless you are a OLB or CB of caliper.!!!!!

New England can't absorb his contract AND sign Revis, and Denver just tagged Thomas, have to try and sign the other Thomas... he won't end up there either.

San Diego, KC, even Philly would be good landing spots for him, depending on their cap room.

DeAndre Hopkins is a pretty good WR, which is why they are allowing him to seek a trade.

No team is going to trade for him with his contract. He will be released. I wonder if he will take less money to go somewhere where he has a chance at a ring or if he'll just take money from the Jags, Raiders or 'Skins.

He'll go to the *Patriots and they'll get an extra 1st round draft pick in the deal.

</sarcasm off>

Injury prone doesn't have to mean he is inactive. Often on the injury report and underperforming over the past couple of years.

He is a shell of his former self but I do not think he is done. With Schaub, Fitzpatrick, and Keenum and God knows who else at QB he still had almost 200rec, 2300yds, and 8TDs in 2 years. On a team with better than average QB play he would have had close to the same numbers as before.

NOTE: At no point did I say I wanted to go after him.

Lets sign him. We can trade Ben, Brown and Bell to Miami for Wallace and 18 1st round draft picks and then sign DeAngelo Williams. Let the Laundry Jones era begin! (thick with sarcasm)

I'd say the Seahawks and Broncos would appeal to Johnson if released.

Almost online with what Chip is doing in Philadelphia. Go figure.

Really?

Let's see, missed 20 games in 12 seasons. Fewer than two per year.

Past his prime? Yes, but still better than 75 percent of the receivers in the league. Caught more than 300 passes the past three seasons.

And he'll end up with a serious contender.

2012 - 112 catches (for the most yards in his career).
2013 - 109 catches.
2014 - 85 catches (from the likes of Fitzpatrick, Keenum, Mallett and Savage).

and Fitz acted like Johnson wasn't on the team...didn't really seem to look for him....Keenum LOVES to throw to him though

Yes, and it's nonsensical that so many fans here (in H-town) think that Keenum isn't an NFL QB.

If O'Brien weren't such an egomaniac, Keenum could be a very good backup quarterback with the Texans....and maybe more than that.
