Pretty much spot on.
I hope the Pittsburgh media makes some noise the remainder of the season. That’s the only way us fans will see change.

Ray has pretty consistently been tough on the coaching. There were a few questions about the decisions and performance today that I thought were good. Of course, Tomlin's responses were typical and offered nothing

He's like a politician. You'll get some mumbo-jumbo coach speak and that's it.
I never pay attention to it, but I do pay attention to the games. All of them going all the way back. I wish my memory wasn't so good, but it is and my processor just melted down today.

The most expensive defense in the league and they can't shut anyone down. Every Joe Blow rookie carves them up and the DC has no buisness on that sideline. The OC is a joke and the HC is playing some type of pussyball because he wants to keep his precious ******* record of .500 or better in place. It's selfish.That **** isn't going to develop your qb ever. It's a bullshit offense and a bullshit defense. All of that rah rah motivational **** won't win against people who actually have their **** together.
Nothing on God's green earth will take this thing to a Superbowl Championship.
Possibly the worst the Steelers have looked year and yet the Browns needed a last second FG to beat them.

The defense only gave up around 250 yrds and like 160 yrds passing. That is not being carved up. They only gave up 13 points and got a turnover. They were often put in bad spots due to Harvin's great punting and our own lack of offense.

Its not just the loss, but how we lost.
38 seconds into the game and we burn a timeout. I think it was a 3rd and 11 and yeT a defensive time out (there was a 2nd defensive timeout as well, same result of having to many men on the field). UNREAL
NO Warren in on the last drive But more importantly, all 3 downs, incomplete pass plays that stopped the clock to give Cleveland more time for their drive. UNREAL
Bend but don’t break while defending the final drive. The drive you must stop at all cost to get to overtime or another offensive possession. Play way the **** off the players and they virtually drive right down the field.
No tight coverage and TWO ****-ING DOWN LINEMAN RUSHING.
F- entire coaching staff BUT definitely TOMLIN. He sucked eggs without butter.

I don't think the defense should get any blame this time.
Allowing only 13 points is pretty much shutting them down.

They got smoked by a rookie. Again. That stupid passive defense they play cost them this time. There's absolutely zero creativity getting to the qb. I know if we had a Dick LeBeau defense these rookies would be screwed. Good grief they let them drive like 17 plays on one drive alone in the second quarter.
A lot of that going on lately with very few 3&outs.
Giving up 2 fieldgoals to that pathetic offense would have been more like it.
I'm just in a very raw mood and I'm venting..lol.

Putting any blame on the defense for that debacle is nonsensical. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON THE GODDAMN FIELD. The offense had 59 yards in the first half. They had 15 yards passing. 15. After their only touchdown of the day (which was a 2-play "drive" capped by Warren's 74-yard run), they gained less than 10 yards on 5 out of their next 6 second-half possessions: 7 yards, punt. 7 yards, punt. 2 yards, punt. An amazing 13-play drive for a field goal. 9 yards, punt. 0 yards, punt. The Steelers finished the game with 77 yards passing. 77.
The defense held Cleveland to 259 yards on SEVENTY-THREE plays. That's 3.5 yards per play, man. But yeah, they got "smoked by a rookie," and it's THEIR fault.
It is the players. They play. It is also the coaches. It is not just one and not the other.
But, Topseed, I admit you have been right, I have been wrong. I have stated Tomlin is an outstanding coach. I have been wrong. There is a disconnect with Tomlin or something. He has become a lousy coach. This just abject refusal to acknowledge how bad things are...not by words, I could care less what he says, but by actions is baffling. It almost seems that he doesn't want to do this anymore or has gotten so comfortable it doesn't matter.
I have been right about one thing, though. It doesn't matter one iota what we think, which is why after they bumbled around for a few drives I went pheasant hunting. Sunday hunting in PA! After 45 years or more of missing beautiful Sunday afternoons because of Steeler football, the last few years the Steelers have cured me of having to watch them and be miserable. Hahaha. And I even missed the one pheasant I had a decent shot at.

It'd be great if Acrisure started a "Fire Tomlin" chant when the cards come to town, but too many fans wear black and gold shades and don't see the problem starts at the top.
#3 is very legitimate. The history of the league is littered with lousy coaches. There seems to be a real dissatisfaction among the fanbase or Art 2 as well. Is there confidence he would hire a better coach?
