I have not heard this, as well. Seems like he is the ultimate team player.
Same here....gone to lots of Cards games over the years (eh, free tickets) and have never heard anything negative about him.
Don't see him in B&G though. And would suck to find him in Balt. or NE*
Fitz would want to be The Man if he was here and wouldn't take kindly to AB getting more balls thrown his way.

I don't think that would be the case at all. He is the ultimate team player, has played with trash at QB for most of his career and began to take a backseat this season and didn't complain at all.
We don't have the cap room, or the need. Ain't happening. Fuhgghedaboutit.
I'm pretty sure Fitz realizes Brown is one of the best in the game and would know coming in that AB was the guy here.
Give me Fitz over Wheaton, Bryant still needs time to learn all the routes, I don't think playing behind AB and Fitz would discourage him in any way. I doubt this happens, but if the price were right I'd be fine with it.
Who are we going to sign to help our secondary in FA? If our secondary is going to be better it's going to come from Mitchell being healthy, Thomas staying healthy, Cortez waking the hell up, and Jarvis Jones getting to the damn qb.

What does Fitz want? Does he want a ring or does he want to go after records? If he wants records then he probably has to go to a bad team where he will be the #1 guy. If he wants a ring, then there are several teams that could use him as a possession guy and redzone target.
The Colts could be the best of both for him. He'd fit perfectly with Hilton and if their defense improves a bit, the Colts are a contender.

You're about as tuned in to all things NFL as the actual character Ron Burgandy. Fitz has never once complained about not being involved in the offense or not getting balls thrown his way, that was his father who complained, at which point Fitz sat him down and said "knock it off". Fitz is exactly the type of player every team wants, goes all out, 100% effort no matter how involved he is.
I don't know why, he wasn't exactly lobbying to throw the ball more his way. And I'm sure you meant Cards QB's, seeing as they can't seem to keep any of them healthy.
Okay, maybe that's what I remembered hearing. Regardless, they don't have the cap room even they cut Troy because they have to sign Ben. The Dolphins just gave Ryan Tannehill $105 million over seven years and he isn't nearly as good as Ben. I know he has another year on his contract but the longer they wait the more expensive he's going to be.

There quarterback may not even be on the roster at this point. I don't know the status of Palmer and Stanton, but weren't their injuries going to bleed over into the upcoming season?

If you're going to break the bank for one player, would it be Fitz or (as someone suggested) Revis?
Given our needs, I'd say Revis. But we can't afford either one, so we'll have to count on some breaks and a whole lot of luck next season.

I think Stanton will be ready to go and Palmer is ahead of schedule they said.

Wouldn't you love to see the Steelers redo Ben to lower his cap, and then get Revis and a real OLB to start alongside of the Jones/Moats thing on the other side?
I think Pats might very well keep Revis, but yeah.
