He crossed the NFL front office and was disliked… or so it is speculated at least

It had to do with trying to sign with a rival league iirc…

Who cares. **** the front office. The man should be in the HOF.

This is the same front office who let the pats***** cheat. They can come off that high horse.

LC has to be put in by the Vet committee and I don’t think he is on the Semifinalist list this year…

Hines was a semifinalist last year iirc. I think Harrison was too

For some reason I don’t think James Harrison is eligible yet?

I’d think he is first ballot HOF.

Warren Sapp is in the HOF, LC should be too, no ifs / ands / pr buts……… unless the butt is the Rog.

iirc he was eligible for 2023, but did not even make it out of tge semifinalist group with Ward.. he retired in 2017…

That clears that up, I thought eligible next year. A travesty, Sapp in and JAMES HARRISON not.

Add in LC and we have the two biggest “should be in” players that are not.

James changed the game and the rules. He was also involved in the top 3, if not the GREATEST play in Super Bowl history.

Im pretty sure if the writers wrote something based on their selection criteria it would go like this
1. Does the person have any credible claim to hall of fame with flashy stats or obvious contributions?
2. Was he cool with the media?
3. Did he play a skill position?
4. Did he play or coach a team I like? ( or hate)
5. Was he one of the best of his era at his position?

Step 1 probably has the biggest weight to it

So like Gregg Lloyd was one of the best olbs of his era, and Olb/edge is a skill position in many ways… however he didn’t have extremely flashy stats, played for the steelers, and was a douche to the media… so he won’t ever get in barring a vet committee miracle

Aaron Smith was probably the best technician at 3/4 DE in the past several decades… but that isn’t a “ skill” position with flashy stats… he was cool with the media, but again… steelers and technical superiority means nothing to dimwit writers who barely understand the game. Same goes for Casey Hampton at NT.

You can’t just be great… you have to be obviously great and then politics still play a big role

All I want to see is two names.
L.C.Greenwood
Hines Ward
A - FN - MEN!
It's criminal LC hasn't been in already, and we kinda knew Hines would get jobbed.
but both are MORE THAN DESERVING to be in.
