This is the day where my football withdrawl is the worst. Doesn't get much better until the leaves are on the trees. What are some things steeler nation does to pass the time? I just want to eliminate as much of the off season as possible.

I cant be the only one who would love to watch "d-league" or "minor league" football.

12 cities. 8 game regular season. 2 week payoff. (In non NFL cities)
Televise 3 games Saturday and 3 Sunday. (There has to be some national cable network that would be thrilled to carry this)
This would take you to mid April. Those players could then be drafted in May or be free agents to sign,They can also compete in the new Veterans combine.

Now after the draft weekend and you have your OTAs and then a 6-8 week break in the summer months before the opening of camps.

Investors form a line please....

Never heard of "minor" league football...

Went to the casino last night....came home and watched us lose again in Super Bowl 45...damn fumble!

No much winning all around last night for this guy...

Today will be in the 50's...probably hit the beach/boardwalk for some relaxation before starting another stressful week at work.

I watched Draft Day last night. Way too much romance but it gave me a fix.

waiting for the draft books to come out, get tired of reading online.

Free agency isn't too far off either !

Hockey and College Hoops. Sad day for me with passing of Dean Smith

Coming up Pitt fans...Heels AT the Oakland Zoo

Hours and hours of pleasuring a trophy wife will keep me busy.....

or watching Hockey.

I think golf is on today. NASCAR starts in a few weeks.

This week is pretty rough without football, but by next week I'll be more into college basketball and hockey.

Nfl network is having a replay marathon. Some games I didn't see and mobile madden for some filler

Oddly enough it is no big deal to me. I will start getting antsy right before camp opens though.

I got to reminiscing and ran across some snip-its of old time football wisdom....

Thank you NFL for NFL Game Rewind. As I am stuck inside running 4 or 5 days a week on a boring treadmill, I am re-watching the Steelers better and exciting games this year on my iPad. Surprising how I can still get into some moments from these games and forget about running nowhere for 15 or 20 minutes.

I dvr'd the short cuts version of each Steeler game this year that was on the Sunday ticket and I watch those when depression sets in. It is amazing the impact that team has on me...I'm sure many of you can relate.

I usually record then watch it once or twice then delete the game in its entirety. When they win. lol

Haven't deleted the last win yet.................
