Good. I cant even tell you if this Guy makes the squad or not but I was a bit worried that if there were any injuries at ilb we were going to be terminally shorthanded there
He is coverage capable and ST capable. I think he sticks.

Signing two meant an exit for one player. Reading Twitter WR Anthony Miller thanked Pittsburgh for his stay. I take it his time is up.

I wish him well. O thought he had an inside track to wr 6… now i am almost worried that Gunner is the frontrunner
Perhaps the XFL player and undrafted returner get the stick.

I hope so, but I think Boykin is going to be really hard to beat out because of his experience with our special team’s coverage… i figured spot 123and 4 are locks… Boykin is a near lock, and the sixth would be able to return and play the slot… Miller checks all the boxes.. now even with the new returner rules, you still need a couple guys who can do it..

Right now I think Gunner will go into camp as the 6… but if McFarland wins the RB 3 role, then Butler or Fitzpatrick might have a shot of displacing him if they can play in the slot at all….

You can never be used properly if you can’t stay heathy. If this guy did, they would be shopping or dropping Dionte

Unfortunately we will likely see him back and on the field again

Would’ve gladly rolled with Miller or Sims before Gunner as both appeared more talented and cheaper taboot.

I don’t know if it’s the Cheaters taint on him, his lack of doing anything really well or his high salary that makes me dislike him most…

Hopefully we have a Vaughns type UDFA to appear outta nowhere and actually get awarded the spot this year and gunner becomes a cap savings

I have high hopes that either Butler or Dez Fitzpatrick forces their hand… I think Fitzpatrick is a sleeper of sorts… a former 4th round guy from 2021 that we signed to the PS last season… he had a higher upside but (gasp) no consistency as a rookie and in his second season the Titans cut him …

He had visited recently. He brings ST capable and vet experience at ILBer. That completes their depth signings for OLBer and ILber.

LS Sunahara was briefly with the Steelers before, so perhaps second times a charm? He brings needed competition to the position as apparently Kuntz didn't impress last season.

Part of Kuntz’s problem is they abruptly shaved Bush off the rooster, it should have been a little more delicate in that regards…..

The last “BIG” news as far as the rooster goes…………… will be the announcement of Highsmith’s extension.

This is a good signing he more versatile than some of the other guys we signed he’s had some really good coaching along his path… you never know when one of of these journeymen finds a home we need a James farrior to own that inside spot. Teams are back to running the ball and Steelers have been slow to respond, but looks like the powers that be are waking up and we got some run stoppers signed. GoSteelers!

Actually excited about this up coming season and these signings are a big part of why. I want to see how it plays out in training camp and what the final 53 look like.

Should be exciting season.
