If the Steelers lost a SB like that.....

Seattle lost that game because they didn't put the game away when they were up by ten. They gave Brady a chance, and he took advantage. That last play call was unfortunate, but it was their play calling all season that gave them a chance to win the SB in the last minute. The Seahawk fans are calling for the OC's head. I would remind them who got them there. Look at that call to end the first half.

I also credit the Patriots team for not folding. They made the plays when they had to.....period.

why couldn't Wilson audible out of that bullshit call?

I bet he lost a few million on that pick.

Our great defenses back when we won our Super Bowls used to get dinked and dunked to death by Brady too. It's hard to defend because they are actually doing everything right: keep things in front of them, force 3rd downs, make the offense make 10 plays in a row without a penalty or mistake...

Playing way off the ball is not doing everything right. You have to know it's going to be short passes. They have good players.smash them at the line! They're doing nothing that hasn't been done before. I blame this bullshit on not being able to hit wr's over the middle anymore. In fact i don't see much hitting at all. It's pathetic. They tackle the ball and try to pull it out. Those quick passes over the middle would be rare because guys would be getting ****** up. It's not ******* rocket science.

Yeah, that was the most yards after the catch I can remember seeing the Seahawks allowing in a game. Much of it was injury induced, with their #3 CB going down early and their safeties each playing with one arm, but not all of it.

I was wondering why no PI call...receiver was looking for a flag as he went down. And Butler went through 50% of the receivers body to get it.

Read that Wilson had authority to change the play at the line, maybe he wanted the new truck with a game-winning throw.

Doubt we will ever now why.

There's no ******* way that was pass interference. Defender has the right to the ball and he didn't go through the back of the WR to get it.

I would be out of work for a week. Not even kidding. I cannot imagine what is going through the heads of Seahawk fans tonight. Seriously though, if the Steelers had a Lynch type player and Ben threw a pick from the one yard line like that, this board would literally explode.

I may be in the minority but the single most painful loss to me was the AFC Championship game vs the Chargers. We lost on the last pass, which was deflected the Chargers near the goal line.

I agree. Worst Steeler loss of all time.

Ben throwing a pick there is different than Wilson IMO. Wilson didn't play a great game and has no stand out WRs. We have Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant, Wheaton and Heath. I could live with Ben throwing from the 1 because we aren't one dimensional. That said, WTF was Seattle thinking. They couldn't stop Lynch. Either have Wilson go superman over the top or turn and hand to Lynch.

It doesn't matter what they'd have called. The **'s defense knew the playcall before Wilson did.

The NFL is already spinning the deflated footballs and sweeping the **'s **** under the rug. They're going to let Brady and Belichick walk without ever talking to Brady at all about it.

it's ******* sickening. It's not football anymore. It's scripted entertainment. That's all it is. It's not worth your time or money.

If I hear one more ******* guy compare Tom Brady with one of the top quarterbacks though...

BTW saw a stat post-game, in the last 3 seasons the Seahawks had 17 plays from the 1 yard line. Last night was the first time they tried a pass from the 1 yard, INT. It was also the only INT from the 1 yard line in the NFL all season.

at least if the steelers did that the ball would've been our best players hands, and he would've been throwing it to the best wr in the game. Seattle's best weapon is Lynch and it's not debatable.

I can't believe that play call. I mean Carroll proved he had balls at the end of the 2nd quarter when he went for the TD. Then the karma gods smiled down again with that ABSURD catch by Kearse....the Seahawks HAD that game in the bag.

Literally, it was the WORST PLAY called in that scenario...

They had the ball (WITH THREE TIME OUTS) inside the 2 yard line and on second down (not sure why they simply didn't kneel on the ball to kill the clock and force Bellicheat to use his two TO's) - they could have RUN either Wilson or BeastMode - they did not - they lost - we all lost...

I also heard a stat today saying that was the 1st int from the 1 yrd line all season.........

I agree that one hurt but the one that hurts me the most is the loss to the cryboys in 95..........I will leave it at that still hurts to talk about!

What's even worse is Caroll's explanation as a throwaway play, to run more time off the clock. That makes no damn sense. NONE! You run the ball if you are going to take time off the clock. Run Lynch to the outside or a bootleg with Wilson to the outside. You don't throw the ball at the goal line, in traffic. . . to take seconds off the clock. Terrible! Still can't believe they blew it.

Seattle does know their QB is a pretty decent runner too right?

Yep, that is the one that sticks with me.

Exactly. It's the friggen SB, you're supposed to be trying to score, not worry about wasting plays or whatever lame excuse he was trying to use.

Why not roll Wilson to his right if you want a throw away play. If he beats the spy he runs in for a TD. If no one is open he throws the ball away and kills the clock.

This. Or a fade pattern in the corner of the end zone with a low risk of interception.

One more fly in the ointment, if you're going to pass there, at least use play action so the defense steps down into the box. That's all I got.

I could not have bared losing to the cheateriots like that just cant comprehend it. I feel for Seattle but not much. Hearing them whining about the refs in the sb they lost to us was getting really old.

Mine too. We were miles the better team.
