$158 for two tickets to the enshrinement and parking. Almost that much also for a two night stay at a Motel 6. Not going to the game though. Sounds like your cousin has a better deal than I did.

6th all time in rushing yards, no way they could keep him out for very long. Ahead of J. Brown, M. Allen, Dorsett, and Faulk.

Make more room in the Steelers wing in Canton, HERE COMES THE BUS. I think we will all forever love #36.

HELL YES, THE BUS GOES INTO THE HOF!!!! Damn it feels good to be a Steeler fan, cant wait to go to Canton in August. Well deserved...congratulations Jerome!!!

I am so happy about this! YAY Bussie! Excellent news!

???? How do you know Pitt is playing? We haven't got a regular season much less than a preseason schedule yet.

I still don't quite understand the love of Kurt Warner. There are some big blemishes on his career when you dig into it.

Only played 16 games three times and 15 games once.

7 out of his 12 seasons he started 10 games or less.

From 2002-2007 (ages 31 to 37) he started only 42 out of a potential 96 games and had a record of 13-29 as a starter. He was the definition of insignificant in the league.

Career TD's is 33rd all time, Passing Yards 34th, Game-winning Drives is 90th, Comebacks is 109th, Fumbles is 14th

He's kind of the Terrell Davis of quarterbacks. All his accolades are in 4-5 seasons while many seasons in his supposed "best ages" he was benched or injured.

I just don't get it.

Yeah thats what I've always felt about Warner as well. Maybe he makes it in one day, but shouldnt be any time soon

Played in three Superbowls and could have won all three of them, while not even remotely "Dilfering" it, being the predominant reason those teams were there.

He's a two time league MVP, and his five best seasons are comparable to those of the all time great QBs.

He led storied franchises like the Rams and Cardinals to the Super Bowl, which says something in itself.

I'm not saying he should be a lock, as that lull between his stints with the Rams and Cardinals hurts his case, but I think there were circumstances beyond his control in those years. For instance, I think he would have succeeded in New York if he was given a legitimate chance, but that just wasn't going to happen with Eli Manning waiting for his opportunity.

The wheels on the bus go round and round. Round and round. Round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round all through the Hall of Fame.
36 is in!

those few years he was great coincided with internet fantasy football coming en vougue, which was the time of greatest growth for the FF industry... Im fairly certain that has a bit to do with it...he won a lot of people a lot of money. Warner was a great story too... the out of the league QB to MVP story, coupled with the multiple super bowl appearances, and his FF superstardom is going to give him more of a push than you would think.... The Viking's offense of that era was every bit as impressive, yet Culpepper isn't ever getting a look

Anyhow, in all honesty Bettis should really ask Ward to present him. Ward's blocking got him a good amount of yards throughout the years and it cannot hurt Ward's upcoming candidacy if he has a classy intro for Bettis in front of the voters

This year was a good year for the Hall voters to 'clear the table' of those players the deserved to be in the hall but were not quite the best of all time.

Charles Haley was long overdue... Tim Brown had to survive the logjam that he had with Chris Carter and Andre Reed. Bettis just happened to share his first year of eligibility with Marshall Faulk and Curtis Martin.

The only clear 1st year eligible possibility was Seau - and he would have been a lock if he was still alive, it's a shame he couldn't overcome his medical issues.
