Do you know who might be relatively cheap and extremely effective? Landry… injuries have screwed him recently, but by all accounts he is healthy now. I have a really weird feeling that JuJu is going to get massively overpaid in this market… that 1400 yard season in his second season is awfully intriguing when all of his other stats recently are pretty much on par with or better than the other non ancient wrs available…

I mean all the guys under 30 on that list have way worse careers to date than JuJu…

Doing some more research DJ was tied for 7th in the NFL for targets. Gabe Wilson also had 147 targets had but only 83 receptions but he also had 1,103 yards and 4 TD's. Amon Ra-St. Brown had 146 targets with 106 catches and 1,161 yards and 6 TD's. Just ahead of him was Stephone Diggs who had 154 targets but 108 catches and a whopping 1,429 yards and 11 TD's.

Does anyone think DJ has more potential than Wilson or is in the caliber of Diggs? Nah. He severely underperformed this last year and that is on him not the offense who tried to feed him the ball.

DJ absolutely had a down year.. advanced stat wise this may have been his worse… he is a career 62% catch guy, he caught 58% of his targets this year… his YPG dropped from a really good 72 to an ok 57… the previous year (21) in 14 games he nearly mirrored Diggs stats from all 17 games played… this season he took a step back…
Now he still has good production stats, and for a fourth year wr his body of work is fantastic… again with the lack of quality free agents, the draft looking shallow on play right away type wrs, and wr contracts exploding… you might get a gross overpayment for Dionte right now…

Tyrek Hills 30 million dollar contract was absurd… and the fact that miami gave up what? Five picks for him KNOWING that he was asking that money shows you how absurd the wr value is right now…

The Steelers are pretty good at finding mid and late round wrs… if they want to gamble they can replace him they can probably get a really great pick for him

Johnson is following the Steelers on social media, he's in his Steelers jersey in his profile picture, and literally said nothing. I'm confused where all this contract stuff, etc. is coming from.

Because he wasn’t following them on instagram and someone noticed after he tweeted out that crypic message so people jumped to conclusions

I think he just forgot to refollow them on instagram after he unfollowed them on everything during the contract renegotiation…

And i still say the tweet is going to end up being for something DJ is doing totally apart from football… people just read into it
