9 TD and over 1000 yards receiving......

His combine:

6'5 227 pounds 4.48 40, 40 Yard Dash, Bench 18 reps, Vert 36 inches, Broad Jump 128 inches

Plaxico Burress combine:

6'5 231 Bench Press: 4.59 40, Vert 33 inches, Broad Jump 115 inches.

Butler had a better per catch average in comparison, with both having 60 some catches in their final year.

My two and a half cents:

With Bush off the board we can argue that our greatest need per value is WR. I was targeting Butler for round 2, but thought there was a good chance he would be gone before their second pick. If Washington struggles you can keep Juju inside and pair Butler with Moncrief. Butler would give the team a good red zone threat, and help makeup for the 15 TDs leaving the team with Mr. Big **** departure.

I also think the team has upgraded weak areas on D, but the team is losing a lot of production at the WR position.

And you have three other fairly high picks to throw at D, if they took this route.

Feel free to post your darkhorse for round one.

Bush will not be there at 20 so if we want him must trade up. I would take Butler since Moncrief is not nearly enough to replace Browns production.

Have a feeling though that Colbert will trade up to get Bush. It will be costly though. That ******* Brown screwed us up by sabotaging the Bills trade or we wouldn’t have to trade up. Selfish prick!

I dunno, Wiite is being buzzed to be off the board in the 5-8 range. With that better pick they would arguably be targeting him over Bush. And I think that 9 is high to pick Bush. So if they were hell bent on White, in theory they still might have to trade up.

Chase Winovich, Outside Linebacker, Michigan

I think he’s the backup plan if White and Bush are off the board.

I was thinking he was a low two high three prospect. Although I know they have interest in him, and we have seen this team reach before.........

I like Hockenson and Murphy I think both will be solid pros. So many of those Clemson kids that are attractive. Just be surprised to see them go Dline or Olber in 1. Not if things are value equal IMO. I think if you see a DL picked it is clearly a BPA.

I suppose my dark horses from the group would be either tight end or DL/OLB. Wide receiver and inside linebacker seem like the obvious choice in the first depending on who is available.

DARKHORSE................... Ed Oliver (won't be there) but a true dark horse for us to land.

Your Butler kid would be awesome and yes, would tack in 1st........... BUY 1.20

Salute the nation

Josh Jacobs - rated the best rb in the draft, also keeps him away from Ravens
Montes Sweat - rumors have him with minor heart problem, super athlete with a great motor
Johnathan Abrams - easily the best safety in the draft, super athletic and tough, plays with hair on fire like Polamalu.

Chase Winovich, Outside Linebacker, Michigan

I think he’s the backup plan if White and Bush are off the board.

I'm w Ford on this one. Winovich will be a late 1st, early second, IMO. Plus, I don't like Bush at all. He has major issues getting off blocks and while he can "chase" well, he isn't better than D. Long /WVU is way better to me in every category. Long has far more tackle production and leads Bush in most categories.

I'd trade back slightly to get the extra pick (a late 2 or early 3) and pick up Winovich (who played MLB in HS and has superior "shed" characteristics). He could be a great 3rd down option early, playing from the middle or the end. This way we get a shot at Mack as an every down ILB and we can pick up Butler, Campbell or another WR w the later pick. This draft is deep w WR but not-so-much w ILBs who are dynamic w coverage ability.

I've been really high on the Steelers grabbing Butler in the 2nd. With the 1st rounder, ugh, idk how I'd feel about that.

I really do like the kid though

I wonder if that rumored heart condition will factor in.
Same here but the kid played without incident in college. God-willing, that continues thru his NFL career. If he's there at 1.20 it would be a very hard pass for me, if I had any say in the matter...
