Who would you have picked?

Dupree, Ray, or Gregory?


Dupree. Lowest production, and no injuries. Strongest vs the run.

Ray. Highest production, but has a pot issue.

Gregory. Best film, but has a pot issue, and perhaps something else.
 
as far as need and BPA, I'd say Dupree, but Ray had to be right behind him, if Bud was gone.
 
They did the right thing based on who was left at #22. If Peters or Kevin Johnson was on the board, they may have passed up Dupree but it probably would have been a debate at least. Ironically we probably missed out on a top CB because Ray and Gregory both slid. Gregory's talent is quite intriguing, but you have to wonder whether he's the next Dion Jordan or Josh Gordon because he certainly didn't get an A or B or even a C in terms of "interviewing" with NFL teams or else he would have been taken at some point last night.

We got lucky as **** to get a prospect like Dupree at #22 in this highly mediocre draft where some of the best talents smoke an alarming amount of weed, got kicked off of their college team, have potentially scary toe injuries etc. ****, two guys taken in the top 21 tore their ACLs not so long ago at all...

I like what they did........Kid looks like a leader.......enthusiasm is infectious. I see Bud smiling, wearing number #52 with the confetti coming down.
 
I am conflicted. I'd go with Gregory if pot was his only problem. The need was huge, so based on that I like the Bud Dupree pick. However I think Gregory or Ray as long as the off the field stuff doesn't get them are better pass rushers. Translation, the Steelers played it safe and filled a major need without reaching,
 
Based on the numbers, Dupree has the highest ceiling compared to Ray and Gregory. When you factor in that Dupree hit those better jump and 40 numbers while carrying an extra 25 lbs, that's downright incredible.

Force = Mass x Acceleration. With Bud's size and explosiveness, he will be a force to reckon with!

What he said. Considering the options at CB, I love the pick.
 
Dupree was the BPA at LB IMHO. The guy is big, fast and strong. He's raw but his upside is huge. Ray can't play LOLB and taking him basically means that you have 3 ROLBs and 1 LOLB. Even with that Dupree was the better player. Dupree's numbers are great for his size. The Steelers finally look like they are rethinking the small fast LB formula and going with bigger LB.

None of us get paid to "make the call"; but, I'll play...

Knowing that we already have two ROLB's - the sexy picks of Ray and Gregory make no sense. Hindsight is 20/20 - I didn't think about it like that until I started listening and reading more about Buddy...

He's the correct pick. So let it be written - so let it be done...
 
Watching the Bengals fans jump off a Queen city bridge over the ACL injured Ogbuehi pick; follow it up by blowing up the bridge so it can crush them after they land, when we took UK's Bud Dupree with the very next pick. Classic! At least they fear our pick.

Especially painful since the Cinci fans consider UK a local college! Can't wait to see Dupree feed on that Ginger!!

PS Bengals Fanatic is my favorite!
 
Don't know about Ray's foot, but he would have been my pick if his foot checked out clean.
 
Bud is almost as big as Keisel. He provides flexibility. Maybe we use a 2-5-4?
