I did not know that.
Turtle creek was our only win my senior year back in 85.
:D

Anyway. I happy for him. But I don't remember him being "Great". I remember him being good.. Then I only watch steelers so... theres that. I need to look at his stats.

He was ok on a ok team

That's how I Remeber his play too !!! Other than being a pretty boy, his play was slightly above average. Heinz is outside looking in and of course making one hell of a catch / block / run, your choice.

Congratulations to Jason. Well deserved.

More sacks than any player in the NFL from 2000-11, posted double-digit sacks in six seasons and is seventh on the all-time sack list. I'd say that's a solid resume. He's first ballot for a reason...

Great point and thank you. Maybe I never followed his team close enough but it just seemed average to me. Thanks again for his stats.

Now, Terrell Davis being elected, on the other hand, is total bullshit.

I agree, he's 55th on the all time rushing list behind studs like Thomas Jones, Terry Allen, and Willis McGahee.

The Hall of Fame has become a joke. I like Warner, but he was borderline at best. And Terrell Davis? You've got to be kidding me. That's asinine. And I know the media hated him, but to not put Terrell Owens in is pathetic. It's getting to be as bad as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with who they're putting in.

I have no issue with Warner. Led his teams to three Super Bowls (arguably three of the best championship games ever), won one, two-time MVP, fastest to throw for 30,000 yards, second-highest career completion percentage, second-highest career passing yards per game. I'd have more of a problem if he was a first-ballot Hall of Famer. But, from 1999-09, he was one of the best at his position.

Good point IronMike. I'm not really upset about Warner, I just think Davis is ridiculous.

6 fumble recoveries for TD's, most by any player ever. 9 total TD's, most by any DL or LB. 29 fumble recoveries, tied for first place. 8 career INT's, 3 of them for TD's. And the guy was a DL.
