That's the helmet with the radio receiver in it to get the plays. Williams had it, got hurt, they gave it to Bush for one play, then they forgot to give it to anyone the next series and the defense couldn't get the plays in and caused alot of miscommunication on the field.
This was per Bouchette on the fan this morning, even he was chuckling about it, saying they can't even do that without confusion.
