And saying this Cincy game is meaningless and we should rest all our star players???????
 
Madden GM types always want to FF to the playoffs, they are infesting this place too

Technically it is meaningless unless the Ravens lose to the Eagles. Then it means we clinch the North.
 
I thought I heard it doesn't matter if the Steelers win or lose this game if the Ravens win this weekend. Either way the Steelers have to beat the Ravens next week...it could affect playoff seeding though. You will want the #3 seed instead of #4 I would think.

Still..you don't want a loss heading into the playoffs.
 
Steelers need to beat Baltimore and beat Cincinnati or Cleveland to clinch the North.

Baltimore needs to win their remaining three games to clinch the North.
 
Winning this game has two potential benefits. With a Raven loss and a Steeler win we would clinch next week with a win a Baltimore rendering the Cleveland game meaningless aside from seeding. A Raven and Steelers win this week makes next weeks game also the clincher if my playoff machine tinkering is correct. It also looks like we are in very good shape to have the third seed with two wins the next two weeks.
 
Take nothing for granted at this time of year...

There are too many scenarios in respect to the Wild card as well....
 
These people are complete idiots. We must win the next 2 games to guarantee the division crown and a playoff spot. If we do that, then we can rest our players in the final game. Even then, I would still play the starters for a half. Most teams that rest players completely in the final game come out flat in their first playoff game.

We have a shot at the wild card as well, yes we want the division, but winning 2 of 3 puts us at 10-6, Miami has a back up and Denver's run D has gone to hell and have 3 double digit win teams left
 
Also if we win this game, and Baltimore beats Philly, then beats us, they have to beat Cincy the final game still. If we lose to cincy, then lose to Baltimore, the final game for Baltimore is meaningless.
 
I want to put as many points up on those ******* as possible. If we're up 42-21 with three minutes left I want Ben throwing 40 yards downfield to AB. Then Shades be at the presser saying it's "situational football".

Steelers need to beat the Bengals, Rats and Brownstains *****. Decisively and not by 1-3 points, 3 or more scores. At this point its all about momentum.
 
With the weather forecasted to be ******, we need to suck the life out of the clock and get out of this without our players getting beat to ****. We need to win this game and go into the Baltimore game with all the mojo and health we have so we can clinch the AFC North title on Christmas.
 
11-5 Could get the Steelers the #2 seed, the game is meaningful. It potentially may not have an impact on whether the Steelers make the playoffs or not, but it is an important game.

Us beating Cincy makes the Ravens have to win at Cincy to win the division.
 
Living in philly I actually think the eagle will win. They have been dogged by the press here and I think they win out.
 
So if the Eagles beat the Ravens then Christmas becomes meaningless? I obviously want to clinch the division but that Christmas game would suck if that happens

If they lose to Philly and we beat Cincy, we just have to beat Baltimore or Cleveland to win the division.

I don't know.. without their biggest play maker in Sproles, it's going to be tough. I can't see Wentz having a good game vs. their defense either. Also, I think Harbough is undefeated at home vs. rookie QBs.

That being said, fly eagles fly!
