He no longer belongs in the NFL. It was apparent seven months ago. Tomlin's loyalty will result in a waste of a roster spot that will hurt the team.

I was thinking Golden was more of a dud. But Cockrell was out there looking sloppy too.

This team barely ever looks ready early. I just don't understand it...........

Really... none of the secondary has been stand up. Gay, Burns or Cockrill have done anything, missed tackles, interference, no coverage. Once again picked apart on third down. Burns and Cockrill are so far off the receivers on the line they can run any pattern they choose. This year will be another defense can't get off the field and offense has to go 80- 90 yards each position of ball, after watching these three games. Tomlin has a big decision, which of the bad to I keep.

No more Gay ****. Just Burns. Left with the aftermath of a promising one night stand

SOS. Same ol Secondary. I wanted a corner in round two, not Ju-Ju

Word I have heard, is that they have slipped Gay in at safety periodically during practice so they might could keep just 4 safety's and add another "player". Your guess is good as mine what that player would be.

That being said, I'm not sure he would be any more effective in center field but I'm not a Gay guy to start with...jus sayin'

Or perhaps we're playing vanilla D and are waiting to unleash hell week 1?

Nah, that would only happen if we lost the opener.

I would be afraid to unleash hell too early in the season, it might wander into the neighbor's yard and we'd hafta pay for the damages.

Read what I'm about to say very carefully and very seriously:

No matter how much Willie Gay has slipped, he is still the best CB we have.

Is it the players or the scheme. I wish we would have hired our next DC after Dick from outside the organization. I knew Butler while tweeting it here and there would continue what he knew best. Dicks defense.

Butler is made just small tweaks the only tweek as the DL re not just gap eaters and fat ***** but they have to be agile and be able to pass rush penetrate like Hargrave. We need to look outside the staff for a DC, it might really be time for the 4-3

Nail on head>. THIS was my biggest fear as well. I wanted an OUTSIDE organization DC in the baddest way. I think the 3 / 4 or at least our version of it is so figured out that the shittiest QBs have their way with it. We keep saying we need CBs but that has been being said for eons, almost as long as we have been playing Dick L. Scheme. What is the constant in this cinerio, you guessed it S-C-H-E-M-E.

Salute the nation

Watch for a trade...How about we bring in Kyle Fuller? Trae Waynes would be a dream, but MINN is down on him

Scheme but at the same time this team can't seem to draft a decent CB to save their life.

-Owned 11 mil this year, 10 mil next year. If the browns would eat 5 mil/yr for the next 2 years I would send them a 5th or 6th.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports the Browns are "aggressively trying to trade" CB Joe Haden.

Haden for Coates and a pick?

Too much $$$, plus he has been hurt. Browns would need to eat half the $$$.
