Bill Burr is a 3 million hit and a 1.9. Dead cap. Waitman is like a 1.1 million cap hit. Bill Burr is 900k dead cap next season. If you actually like Waitman you could say take 1.5 million for 2026 and you got the job.

Seems like neither is breaking the bank. So you go with whomever wins the job right?
I would think so. Burr has the pedigree if you will. But coming off a huge injury. Waitman is a known comodity with team. They wouod have an assistant watching damn near every punt for a month.
