Wig gets right again!

I did the ole "tried and true" cure-all for a Steelers ***-whoopin'.

Fired up Madden 20 and destroyed the Chiefs 73 to 6.

I feel MUCH better.

I just remember the really old Nintendo Tecmo Bowl where Bo Jackson and Christian Okoye destroyed everybody. Good times.

The original Tecmo Bowl only had like 12 teams, Walter Payton was a beast on that one, Then Super Tecmo Bowl came out with all the teams on it, greatest game ever. Barry Sanders was awesome on there also.

I think it was either that one or super tecmo bowl that you could crush teams using a goal line offense and defense every play lol..

Madden doesn't let you design your own plays anymore. If they did, I could pretty much score as much as I want.

My Madden 2008, I had a complete custom playbook, knew exactly where every receiver was supposed to be on every pass from every formation.
Was a true joy.

Now you have to find plays from all the playbooks and import them to your custom book. It's alright, but there's a particular sense of familiarity when you design the play yourself. Also, I really really hate most of the route trees. I design my plays to generate isolation for at least 2 receivers.

Yeah it might've been Super TB actually cause I don't remember Sweetness, but I do remember Barry now that I try to dig into this old memory bank a little more.

OT but remember Mike Tyson's Punchout? Loved all the characters they created for that one.

I have one of those retro game things that just plugs right into your TV by a HDMI cord, it has like 15,000 games on it from 22 different consoles, pretty much every Nintendo game ever made, it has Tyson's punch out, several Super Tecmo Bowls with rosters from different years.
