I wonder what a fresh back might have done?

I personally would have worked him in during the game. Just a game of guessing at this point.

Yeah didn't care for the lack of substitutions.

Right before Connor fumbled I was saying "lets see ridley or JS on this drive". Great game by Connor. . .maybe withs fresh hands and legs and mind, at that point, we coulda avoided letting the stains back in the game.

Good idea. Hindsight 20/29. After Connor fumbled outside of his catch all he was thinking about was hanging onto the ball.

I thought - pretty early on - that going with one RB exclusively was strange. Even with Bell, another back, or two, get an occasional carry.

Yeah I don't understand why the Steelers think they can only use one running back in a game. at least have a couple of series where he gets a rest.

I thought Conner looked hesitant after the fumble as well.

Part hesitation and part the defense knew we were going to run so there wasn't the running lanes like there were in the first 3 quarters. But yea, he was two handing the ball exclusively after the fumble and possibly cost him some burst. I blame some of it on the weather conditions too.

Because CMT believes in running the wheels off his starter.

Tomlin ran the wheels off Connor, that's his coaching style

Couldn’t beat the 1-31 Browns without Bell.....lol

Well I'm glad y'all are thinking the same thing I've been thinking. Just no excuse not to make some substitutions to keep guys fresh. Conner I believe still would've had a monster game even with the other guys getting some of the load. After the fumble it was all about ball security and the offense lagged. Ben obviously needs a lot of reps to get in sync with his WRs, I don't know why this still seems lost on the coaches.

That’s Cool Shades and his coaching wisdom. Run the hell out of James. Would have made too much sense to infuse Ridley in and the occasional JaySam. Also why not get the kid Washington in the game too. Hunter is not a third receiver and is what I thought he was, a nice preseason player who disappears during the season. Please let’s start seeing Washington next week.

Tomlin is not good at the big picture. He runs one guy. Samuel could have brought something. Ridley could have brought something. Tomlin just doesn't role that way.

Probably not a good idea to put in a new guy in OT if he hasn't been in the game at all. That begs the question of why there was no substitution at all - that's on the coaching staff.

so, fire Tomin and bring back Haley

Steelers fail to adjust against the worst team n football, Tomlin's legacy grows as worst coach against loser teams ever!

I think they adjusted just fine, except for Ben. He just couldn't adjust to not turning the ball over...

The fact they got a tie at all is because of how well we played on D. That last fumble should have been the dagger, it wasn't and now the Steelers hold the ultimate tie break in football!!

Coaches didn't adjust well at all.

Conner was force fed without ever experienced that type of work load.
They snailed way too early.
On the field goal attempt they were way too conservative.
You cannot mention Ben without what led to his ****** performance.

Lack of preparation and participation in preseason.

Sorry it will be a mixed bag of blame for me.
