Why isn't Aaron Rodgers taking the beating that Ben did?

Rodgers is marketable for the league.
He's on state farm commercials. If you have a marketable player, you'll try to keep the negative stories hush as possible.

Ben doesn't get the national advertising like Rodgers in terms of commercials and such.
Now guys like AB who had national ads with pizza hut, but his ego really put him in a negative spotlight.
I'm sure the league tried to keep the negative to minimum, but sometimes guys like that are going to air dirty laundry regardless

Rodgers has a chip on his shoulder and is sensitive according to his teammates. Ben takes a beating because he's a Steeler, and has had two off the field issues. Plus he seeks the media. Rodgers as far as I know tires to be quiet off the field. He's stuck on Green Bay, and they dolt have the talent of the Steelers.

Rodgers and McCarthy are both white. That means there is no racial component, therefore the media has no interest.

I thought of that too but wasn't sure I wanted to go there on a non-political forum of the board.
