I'm done with it. You can't watch an awesome touchdown/catch/run/interception/forced fumble/blocked kick/etc. these days without them going to the video tape.

As much as I wanted it back in the 80s, and early 90s, I'm done with it. It totally disrupts the flow of the game.

Even with it, they still don’t get the calls right...

I say keep it but go back to the refs on the field looking at it instead of someone at NFL HQ in a room with Roger sitting behind him.

I’m good with it as long as it is used for its intended purpose. It was never designed to analyze every call. It was designed to correct OBVIOUS mistakes.

The originators knew what we have today was a potential danger. That’s why they clarified that calls could only be overturned with conclusive evidence. Uncle Al has hi jacked the game and is taking the human element (and fun) out of it.

No but there should be a one minute review at half speed like it used to be and if nothing is obvious it stands... just frame by frame isn't really a good idea

Did there use to be to be a time limit? I really like that idea.

If Goodell really wanted to fix this problem, it could be done in an instant. The current way it is being used was never voted in. It doesn’t have to be negotiated. In fact, it’s being abused, and needs to stop.

One minute start to finish, if it takes longer then the call stands.

How come college review system is so good and fast and the NFL's sucks ?

It's been a long time, but i think they tried a time limit before they wound up scrapping it in the 90s. Or maybe not, lol.

There is still time limits, they just ignore it to get it "right". Scrap it altogether. It's just getting worse. I think the keep it to sell more commercials.

I want it one minute from start to finish: The moment the replay review is announced to the time the ref is back on the field making the call. That should leave about 30 seconds for review, more than enough time to get 3-5 looks at a play. If it can't be decided by then, game on.

But the college review system also sucks.

I'd put it back on the field, not some goon in NY. May as well kill the 5 yard chuck and pass interference. They don't enforce that **** worth a **** or only enforce it when it helps sway the outcome of one of their bullshit games. Kill that helmet to helmet on crossing routes or if the wr is lowering or diving for a ball. And a catch? They're not even close to calling that **** evenly.
