Switzer is awful at kickoff returns, he is too slow and indecisive. Anyone would be an upgrade. Switzer is last in the NFL at 19.7 per return.

You can disagree all you want but the numbers are what they are, Switzer is WORST in the league. he is not elusive , fast, explosive or able to beat a tackler as a KO return man. Kinda like watching Tomlin manage the clock, you know the second he touches the ball he is going to go down like Stormy Daniels.

By the way, to complete the trifecta, Switzer is also the league's worst WR in yards per catch at 7.5 yards, historically bad. There is a reason twp bad teams in desperate need of WRs got rid of him twice in a year.

Blocking for a slow kick returner with no explosion is not easy. Funny how every team in the NFL is better at it than Switzer but it is not his fault. I guess his record low yards per reception is because of bad blocking too.

Anybody returning KOs this year in the NFL has been better, you think all 31 teams block better than we do ? The only constant in being worst in their jobs at receiving per catch and KO returning is Switzer. When you play a slow and soft Tar Hole you fail.

We've been near the bottom of the league in KO returns for a couple of decades now, this isn't new. Like I said earlier, kick and punt returns aren't going to matter much when we're down 72-17.
