Those are the top prospects.
I do NOT see them going QB in the 1st. I believe they will feel a ring is possible next season, regardless of what happens this year, so they will draft for their biggest need, which will be an edge rusher or CB.
You don't use a #1 at QB unless you feel your current QB is done. Ben has 2-3 more years left.
Therefore, unless they remain mentally retarded, they will finally try to upgrade the dumpster fire, which would be the backup QB unit in Pgh.
So, since they won't go QB in the 1st, take Kizer off our board.
Next to consider is Watson. Scouts have him going anywhere from late 1 to the 4th round. I do no believe Pgh will take a QB before the 3rd round. And I really don't like Watson as a pro. Here is another QB who is an excellent athlete but hasn't shown good accuracy or the ability to see the field and read defenses. He sounds like another Kordell Stewart and he was proven not up to par as an NFL signal caller. Both the Bears and Ravens figured out immediately he sucked. Balt. was signing guys off the street instead of letting KS play. I pass on Watson.
Next is Trubisky of NC. He has all the tool, and size. He had a string of consecutive 400 yard passing games. I don't know how far he will fall, but if he is there in the 3rd, maybe they grab him. Maybe, if they really think he is the heir apparent, they even take him in the 2nd. This guy would be better than Landy Jones year one.

Then we got Brad Kaaya of the U. Just say no. He can't avoid sacks and has the deer caught in the headlights look when the rush comes. No.
Davis Webb, Cal. Good size, but another gimmick college offense where he doesn't play under center, which isn't the end all in my opinion. If we don't take a QB and he is there on day 3, he is a possibility.
Pat Mahomes, TX Tech. Has put up some big #s. Some scouts love him, others not as much.
Chad Kelly, Ole Miss. Has bust written all over him, gets very careless with the ball leading to big come backs from opponents. You can't be that careless in the NFL; it doesn't work out.
Like Falk, Wash St. Put up crazy #s, but in spread offense. Might be worth a look.
