So a couple hundred mock drafts on SN, and the question I have at this point is, "Who is your guy you say no, please God no" as a potential 1st round pick. Let me start by saying you should all skip Tyler Simpson since he is not a 1st round talent, at all, we agree on that. He goes in the 3rd round I suspect.

My "just no" guy is Kadyn Proctor, OT from Alabama. He is not an OT. He gets beat around the edge way too much, is too flat-footed, and is not very mobile. Garrett and Hendrickson will kill him, then kill the QB. He would be an okay guard, maybe even a good guard, but teams find good guards in the 4th round all the time.

any QB in the first. I just don't see that any of them are better at this point than Howard.

Nobody should be considering Allar in the first or second. Probably not the early third. Lat third MAYBE. Fourth or fifth absolutely.

I think Allar at pick 161 makes sense and if he is still around, pick 216 is a definite yes from me.

Yep. Mendoza impressed me last year and I think he is a good QB. Maybe not great, but pretty good, sort of Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Philip Rivers level. A team can win with those QB's, win in the playoffs and win SB's, particularly if they can avoid blowing 28-3 leads.

The rest? No, pass. No interest.

Simpson. The only possible 1st round QB they would think (but dont think they are) about.

Sask, agree about Simpson but I booted him off the potentials list because so many of us share that opinion.

Makai Lemon ............. Kenny Pickett hands 2.0 ...........like the kid ..... just don't want to listen to that shyt again from the media

Interesting. I like Lemon since I think his strengths - crisp route-running, sharp cuts, ability to get CB's to lean and then zip the other direction to become open, great hands - pair well with Metcalf and Pittman.

Take a flyer late on day 3 on Joe Fagnano … or undrefted FA.

Simpson and probably any ILB. There are no guys I love at 21, so it's hard to find many I don't want the Steelers to draft.

I like Makai .......... just wish we had a clearer view of what the QB room is going to look like before drafting a WR in the 1st

If our ownership and management selects them in the first round, you can pretty much guarantee it’s going to be a case of no, just no.

Allar and Simpson

Obviously, and Simpson will be gone.

I’d take Allar in the 3rd with the second, possibly first pick of ours.

We need something and Allar is worth a risk.

Salute the nation

ANY QB not named Mendosa.

BTW, did a random draft simulator the other night and Mendosa dropped all the way to 21. Unreal. Took him. I think there's about a 1% of that actually happening, so...

The chances the Raiders pass on Mendoza are less likely than Shedeur Sanders leading the Clowns on an historic 20-0 season.

I'm not against Simpson as much as some. I'm against Simpson starting right away though.

If the plan is for Rodgers to start, Simpson to learn- he's a talented player. And with so many picks this year, you might not have as good a chance as now to pick a development player early.

I have no real individual player I'm out-and-out "nope" on, but I think I'm not that excited by the idea of drafting the WR position in Round 1 as some. Pittman coming in eases the 'need' & the overall depth of the position allows the team to pick a WR, even a couple of WR's in the middle rounds.

I like the idea of LG & LT being added- not as hung up on the player themselves as there are multiple options for both, but I'd pick them in the first 3 rounds. After that- the talent drops too much & the guys we have are probably better as they are.
