Anybody catch this on Jeopardy?

"At Hienz Field in 2009, this ex-NFL star received the CLIO advertising award for a TV ad that aired 30 years before"

Silly woman answers "Who is Mean Joe Brown"!

Too her credit, the two male dorks competing against her never even chimed in.
 
Not everyone follows the NFL and the Pittsburgh Steelers so I can see that. I'm sure if I asked my wife who Mean Joe Green is she would look at me like I'm making something up. Point being she only knows the Steelers because of me and my being obsessed with the team over the years since I met her in 1980. She's a Texas girl and probably can tell you in a heartbeat who Bob Lily is but Mean Joe, I doubt it. Hell I'm going to put her to the test and report back.

Judge Joe Brown is NOTHING like Judge Judy. Joe panders to his participants allowing them to spin any story of lies they wish. Judy only allows participants to answer her questions, if you move of track or lie, she's going to make you look stupid.

No no, you've got it all wrong. Mean Joe Brown is what cleveland fans drop in the toilet, a few days after having MEGA grill valveta cheese sandwiches, while tailgating at their factory of doom.

Mean Joe Green, could be from Texas, or anywhere you want him to be. He is JUST that big, of a legend!!!

Yes he is. As a matter of fact from Denton, TX and went to North Texas State but there is no fricking way my wife would know that. By the way I did ask her and she did not know who he was. She just doesn't follow the sport and only knows Steeler football because of me. Hell, if we weren't together I doubt she would even know Pittsburgh had a team called the Steelers. Now ask her a question about shopping and bargains and the woman can give you a real education.
 
I just can't believe that you guys did not know mean Joe Brown, was Bad Bad Leroy Browns brother, who was immortalized in a song by Jim Croce
 
She meant Mean Joe Bradshaw and he will crack his knuckles across her face for that slight
 
I thought they called Bad Bad Leroy Brown's brother "Mean, Mean Joey Brown". since he was considered meaner than a junk yard dog.

I was watching it with my wife...amazing her with my trivia prowess...lol... and when that question came on, I told her that I would win any jeopardy show if they just had one category per round of sports questions because most of the eggheads on that show have no clue what a football even looks like.

Yea, but Mean Joe Greene is one of the most famous sports names of all time. I was more surprised the other two didn't know it since it rhymes and she spotted them "Mean Joe".
 
Funny, Bad Bad Leroy Brown was my favorite song as a little kid. I have it in my ITunes.
