Good find coach and I agree with you completely.

Ninth overall draft pick Ed Oliver adds another weapon to a front seven already stacked with Jerry Hughes and Lorenzo Alexander

Even something for coolie, you are alright coach.

This site looks impressive. I'll spend more time on it later.

No doubt, our secondary need to play better, since it is impossible to put pressure on the opponent's QB at every play, but at the same time, Keith Butler needs to be better, since he puts his players too often in impossible situations to win, like putting a LB on a WR ... it's so stupid

2015 and 2017, we had major problems with the communication and the many blown coverage, so I would like Tomlin to take control for the playcalling more often, since Butler is too good to invent new dumb idea!

Coach, NICE find and I'll try checking in occasionally on that site.

Salute the nation

Tomlin has already talked about him doing the defensive play calling last year. It's Tomlin's defense more than it is Butler's. Butler is now in charge of the LBs. Tomlin started changing the defense when LeBeau was still here. This is Tomlin's defense.

I have been saying that for years. Without our excellent pass rush the secondary would be the darkest shade of burnt toast.

I have high hopes for rookie Layne. I don't think Tomlin has proven the ability to coach DB's today or hire the right coach for the DB's. The problem has been compounded with Colbert failing to pick good DBs in rounds 1-3. Our last pro bowl corner was Rod Woodson.

Butler's problem is easy to see. He doesn't have enough quality players to play tight man or bump and run. Nor does he have a safety who's good at cover 3. So he opts for a safety scheme to prevent big plays that allows the better QB's or even the no so good or young QB's to rip us.

The way the NFL is today, I think your free Safety should be a converted corner who can play like a corner when needed. So what can the Steelers do? Bush should be able to help the pass defense a lot in the short middle with is speed, and football IQ, which will allow Butler to focus elsewhere. Maybe Nelson who is a hot and cold type of player, can get more than 2 interceptions. So there is some hope.
