Two pro bowl or maybe a pro bowl and all pro linebacker lost to non contact knee injuries. My buddy's son tore his ACL last year. Got fitted for his brace. Played adult touch with us in the spring summer and fall tackle. He moved great. Basically you cannot tear your ACL with that brace. And that is what a regular person gets. What would you lose. Two, three sacks maybe?

You can't expect pass rushers/LBers to wear a knee brace on both knees. Pass rushers especially, need a quick jump and bend. Those braces would definitely slow them down, they wouldn't be nearly as good.

Braces are good for QBs and OL but not sure what other positions want bulky *** knee braces slowing them down and impacting their mobility.

How about the offense just put the game away so the starters don't need to be on the field that late in the game?

The brace moves extremely well, I saw it repeatedly with my own eyes. and again that is the regular person version. There would be some loss of production. Undoubtedly. But what is the loss now for both those players. The ankle part I cannot speak to. Will he be wearing a brace next year? Why not skip the part where you get the tear and just wear the fk'n thing.
