Yep if we can keep him as a cheap #4 with AB, Bryant, and Rogers as the top 3 and Coates as the 5th, I'm okay with that. But he's gotta be cheap, like DHB cheap

I'd take a close look at Cobi before I'd consider bringing Wheaton or even Coates back. I also wouldn't pencil in Bryant until we figure out whether he plans to smoke himself out of the league.

Folks talking about Bryant being back.....need to think about this......One missed test, just one.....he is gone for year. Wheaton has been a solid 3rd pick and contributor until the injury this year. I would argue he is more valuable than Bryant at this point. Even if Bryant is suspended, we still have him under contract anyway.

Why would you cut Coates before his rookie contract expires?

I don't think this is the year to take a QB. There just aren't many talented guys out there, and we can't afford another wasted pick like Landry. I say we try to bring in a decent veteran backup for next year and draft one in the FIRST round in 2018 like Jake Browning

OK - WR, OL, then give me a stud TE or another RB - Bell won't last long with him being slammed up the gut on every play with no blocking

I was never a wheaton fan. We have too many WRs as it is and I just dont see him being around next year. I would list the order as Brown, Bryant, Rodgers, Coates and Heyward-Bey. I think that Rodgers at this point is already on par with Wheaton brings, and maybe a bit tougher. Wheaton never progressed or reached his full potential. Even if Bryant screws up again Coates would slip into that spot (although not as good).

The Steelers really need a legit No. 2 receiver. Things were looking good when AB, Bryant, Wheaton, DHB, Coates and Rogers was the depth chart. It is pretty bad right now without Bryant, Wheaton, DHB and Coates having a damaged hand.

We had a good No. 2 until Smokie couldn't stay away from the chronic.

I'm happy at least, that Hamilton and Eli have hands. Better than DHB, Coates, or Bryant for the ball sticking to them.
