The man wants to win and I dare say deserves a SB. He’s no drama and comes to play every game.

What/who would it take?
 
Would love to see Bryant's tweet after bringing Fitz on board if he thought he was better than Juju.

Either way it ain't happening...Fitz is owed too much money.

Um trading deadline has past and he is a ufa at seasons end... Unless he got cut and made it all the way to us I don't see how this isnt a offseason thread

I'm so ******* sick of seeing him labeled as "classy" because he is one of the NFL darlings that had his domestic abuse swept under the rug.

I was a huge fan of his, always wanted him to return to Pittsburgh, but when I heard about him abusing his wife in front of their infant son, I was done with him. This **** happened in 2008 and nobody gave a **** because they were on their way to the Super Bowl and he was Arizona's superstar.

This was a child-support case that, ultimately, the police did not believe there was a need to follow up on it.

So that's the downside. Any rumors or unfounded accusations are sure to be dredged up – and then thrown into the pool, reported as fact before anyone bothers to do a little more work.

A search of Maricopa and Coconino County public records shows Fitzgerald with only traffic-related cases that have been dismissed or settled.

Just wanted to get this out there before some blogger in Arizona finds the Washington Post piece and goes nuts.

Now we're out in front of it before it becomes twisted into something it's not.

I'd first try to get AZ to pick up a portion of his pay then negotiate with him and let him open up a fitness spa & health consultant buisness in our training facility. AT that point I'd send HALEY / Bryant / Gay and a 4th rnd pick. Sign him for 6.2mill per 2/yr deal. SB BOUND & BEN STAYS FOR tWO MORE.

I read the post and 3 articles above mine. Mine was more of a counter argument.
Fitz could have done it or the girl could be crazy. If he hit her head off the floor and pulled chunks of hair out there would have been physical signs of abuse. Either it was a huge cover up or the lady is nuts. I have not seen anything negative about Fitz before so ill give him the benefit of the doubt

It sucks that unless there is video its hard to tell in many of the cases of domestic abuse because there are a portion of nutsos who really do false file and beat themselves up for monetary gain... Najah Davenport's situation in ohio, for instance...

Same with James Harrison?

Sometimes good people do dumb things. When it's a trend, then it's a character issue. I'm not saying that it's okay to hit a woman...Lord knows that I've witnessed women who could benefit from a good *** whoop'n, just like some men, but circumstances and history come into play. I guess what I'm saying is that sometimes one mistake doesn't a man make.
 
Assuming folks remember, but Jerome Bettis was once falsely accused of sexual assault.

It's absolutely possible that if there was no physical evidence she made it up to get at him...
