I know somewhere there was something (inside a thread) breaking it down but couldn't find anywhere.

Thanks in advance,

Thought after some sort of rule it lowered it even lower but I do remember it usually is like you mentioned think 3/4 mil.

Over The Cap has details of the expected cap hit for each draft choice by team (appears to be before any existing trades are factored in) at https://overthecap.com/draft/. Then you have to deduct the salaries of players who are replaced in the top 51 by draft picks, and rookies who are not in the Top 51 will not count against the cap.

$5,224,512 vs the top 51

Although i don't think that accounts for displacement vs the top 51 so the actual answer is something like 2.6 million and eventually you'd have to account for 2 more minsals of 660k to get to 53 roster spots so in total like 3.8 million cap space would be needed(plus whatever the PS gets paid) to add the rookies and to go from top 51 to top 53

Thanks sawl75, my 4mil thought wasn't to far off. Looks like we may end up with a couple + rookies taking up the 53.
