As for me I will have to go with the XLII. Watching the *s perfect season come to a end at what had to be the most heartbreaking time. I remember hearing Tommy Boy being told the one of the Giants predicted a 21-17 victory, and Brady audibly chuckled and said "we are only going to score 17 points?! and giggled again. They only got 14. The Giants put up 17 and New England went into disbelief. Couldnt happen to a nicer bunch.

I doubt many people here would pick a different one than that. :)

If the STEELERS aren't in them then they can HARDLY be a favorite. Obviously anytime those cheaters lose, it's a good day. I've seen a lot of them, some better than others, but most recently the 18-1 ranks highest.

Salute the nation

If the Steelers don't play?

Then it is whoever is playing dallas, niners, ravens, or pats.

and if the stars realigned and the bungles made it to the big show? them too

that's moving forward

looking backward it is the Steelers 6 SB wins, and yeah nothing else

I was in no way saying there is another favorite team.

Doesnt mean you can enjoy a football game.

Man! Your Steeler fandom is beyond reproach, a thousand salutes to you, good sir! Other teams?? Pff! What other teams??

Hi

Anything with the Pats losing is good. but the one that stands out for me is the Giants/Bills Super Bowl. i hated the Bills ( i mean Ravens/Pats hate). the Bills were suppose to destroy the Giants and it was a for gone conclusion. when that ball went wide right i was so happy and then they lose 3 straight more. just made it all the more sweeter.
But now that i'm older and look back on it (also watched the 30 for 30 series on it last night) it kind of breaks my heart. that was there best shot at a Championship that year. and if anybody deserve a championship it is Jim Kelly. while i couldn't stand him and the entire team then. i have more respect and admiration for Jim Kelly today then probably any player i have ever seen. to look back at the team now and seen what they accomplished, was truly amazing. 4 straight Super Bowls, probably will never see that again.

Hi

that is how many diehards roll

I really don't have one. All non-Steelers SB's go in one ear and out the other. Sure, seeing the Cheatriots lose is great but I don't hold onto memories of SB's unless the Steelers are in them. It's just another game without the Steelers.

Agreed, agreed and agreed lol

1 because it was 1..I was just a little guy just starting to get into football..had no clue it would ever turn into the mega show it is now..but it was def the start of me getting hooked on this game

Jets vs. Colts. I was only 8 years old but my dad had me watching because Joe Namath was from 7 miles up the road in Beaver Falls.

Anytime the Patriots lose is great game. But I liked the Bears '85 Super Bowl. Oh yeah they beat the Patriots. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if Walter Payton had gotten a touchdown.

Giants ruining the Pats undefeated season has to be #1.

85 Bears is probably next. I was a kid and how could a kid not love the Fridge and the Super Bowl Shuffle? Plus Payton was one of my favorite players.

Rams vs Titans - would have hated to see the Titans win

Agreed on Rams v Titans. Was happy for the Rams as thry'd been mired in awful football for YEARS, plus no way did I want to see the damn titans winning it. And the ending was hilarious

The one where we got a glimpse of Janet Jackson's boob. Which one was that? I don't remember who was playing...nor did I care.

Yep Rams Vs titans for me too... great overall game... It helps that I never totally hated the Titans and while mike Martz was an ***, the rams in general are also a non hated team for me. Pats-Giants featured the Hated Patriots with that assclown Brady and that coaches for both teams were the uber-douchebag Belichick and Tom Coughlin, who is second on my Douchebag coaches list. Its also a New York- Boston matchup, which are two cities I hate, and whose smug self importance makes me vomit.

It Had Eli throwing behind an Oline that was allowed to mug the world to keep him upright... ugh it was sick seeing him get 7 or 8 seconds to throw while everyone was held....

I have to agree with everyone here... if the Steeler's aren't in it, it just doesn't feel that special..

I also agree that if the Steeler's aren't in it, watching the *s lose is a good second place.

And if neither of those situations is in play, like this year? I usually root for the newcomer. Back in Super Bowl XLIV, I was pulling for the Saints, just because they had never won anything before AND it meant so much for that city after the devastation of Katrina. This year, I'll be rooting for the Panthers... if for no other reason that it will shorten the list of teams who have never won the Super Bowl. Nothing like seeing the Browns and Eagles still on that list while expansion teams make it to, and win, the big game!

I will root for a fellow AFC team unless it is a hated rival like the Pats**** or Ravens.

I liked the 49ers victories. Especially the ones where they beat the Cowfems to get there.

Really? I was born in Chicago, my dad was a Bears fan and I spent the Steelers dynasty feeling sorry for them and Payton was my favorite player, but dear lord that was an awful, non-competitive Super Bowl from start to finish.

Bills vs Giants for me.

It was a physical, well played game from start to finish, and the Norwood "win or lose" kick was intense as hell.

It also had the epic Whitney Houston national anthem,
