I think we trade down if there are the right guys available and we find a trading partner.
I think anyone wanting to trade Pickens for a single 2nd or 3rd rounder is an idiot. I would have to get two picks on day two to even consider creating a hole that has to be filled with that pick, particularly with the lack of overall talent at WR this year.
Watt is untouchable without some over the top ridiculous Cooch like offer.
I doubt we go QB in the first unless we can trade down first and pick up a high second for DL and I would not want to spend a first on any of these guys, maybe not even Ward. The stigma of being a first round QB puts undue pressure on the pick.
I would not be opposed to a RB in the first if the right guy is there or we could again trade down and get the third best guy and pick up a second-round pick.
Going up is not an option unless something insane happens.
I think we trade a 2026 pick at some point to move up in later rounds.
I put the highest odds-on DL in the first. If Nolan or Harmon are there, I take either one. Grant doesn't excite me as much. I could be convinced to take a RB over him or trade down.
I am more excited than usual for this draft simply because of the uncertainty.
