The dude was supposed to be a beast coming into this year. He just looks fat and slow. What a total slug he is turning out to be. Glad we didn't take him.

I remember when people tried to actually say he was better than Le'Veon during their rookie seasons

He had a nice season sure, but anyone with eyes could tell Le'Veon had better game

He was picked at the top of fantasy football this year. He has done nothing all year.

He's too heavy. Perhaps he also has a Lower body injury

He was never a great player. At Alabama, he got to run through gaping holes, just like Trent Richardson and Mark Ingram. All have proven to be mediocre when not in optimal conditions.

It is sometimes had to evaluate college RBs because many of them are in that situation. They play on a loaded team and it's so easy for them. You also have RBs playing in option or spread offenses that also don't translate.

Lacy had success with GB because the passing game was so deadly that he got lots of easy yard against defenses playing pass first. This year Jordy Nelson is gone and Randall Cobb is dinged so the passing game is not as scary. Lacy is running against honest defenses which requires making people miss and not just lumbering straight ahead through a big hole.

Starks is the better RB.

One word: Fat.

I remember when it came to our pick that draft, I was thinking what a no brainer Lacy was. Perhaps this Tombert guy knows a little bit more about drafting than I do

Oh....oh....you've done it now.

I bet some of which are the same people saying "I told you so" about Archer.

Lacy was rated ahead of Bell on most draft pundit's boards, so anyone that wanted to draft him was certainly on solid footing in making that determination. Personally, I wanted Bell, he appeared to be more athletic, more dynamic, more exciting, and better suited to play behind a not-so-great o-line. But I really don't think you can call anyone an idiot for leaning toward Lacy at the time.

Funny thing, I wanted to post a thread about this topic today, just can't figure what is happening to the guy... Is it possible that he could have a Jerome Bettis type revival on another team? (not ours, we're not the same kind of team we were then) Maybe Buffalo, or Washington?

I was never a fan of Lacy. I always thought he was too big. He is pretty athletic for his size, but he keeps getting bigger. Another problem is his running style. He runs way too upright and exposes himself. I think he should drop about 30 pounds and hit the weight room. I dont know if he has a poor work ethic, poor diet, or just does not care.

Ah how nice it is for the Vikings to look down upon the Packers in the standings. A tie in Win-Loss column but the edge is clear at 3 - 0 in conference play. Hope Teddy passes his concussion tests and is cleared to resume play. He was knocked cold on the fine producing hit. Sounded like Teddy felt he could have come back into the game so there is that.

Loved Zim blowing off Fisher after the game. Vikings have a real Coach in Zimmer. The Defense rocked in OT.

Wha happened?

Lacy is still playing this year.... so there's that.

With the 4th pick in my fantasy league i debated wether to take Brown or Lacy. I took Lacy. Ive been regretting it weekly.

I find this post amusing.

I'm right there with you. I took Lacy in one league and Alfred Morris in another. Both were picked to be studs this year and both have done absolutely nothing.
