One thing for sure, they don't have two of the fucktards whom always seemed to have the cheap-shot attitude. Both Burfdefect and pacman are gone. This translates to less nose dive from lack of dicipline. Remeber it was pacboy who hit the ref while Joey was running his mouth. Another 15 yards and a chip shot to win.


I think we can win this game with our D playing a bit better and if our O can just take a baby step inhe right direction.

What say you Steeler Nation, why are we going to beat the bungles?

I don't think the red headed step child has ever faced the Steelers with no Ben. They have the #3 offense in the league in passing yds so they will test our secondary but i think our D is better so who knows what teams show up.

If we lose to them on MNF we should demand coaches be fired on Tues, thats what i say.

0-4 with the Ravens and Chargers next? Looking at 0-6 - substandard i would say
 
Well you attack their tackles who aren't great at pass protecting, and they are last at running it yes even worse than the Steelers. So you blitz give them different looks as they like to pass. Establish the run, because they suck at defending it.

My thoughts as well. NEED to attack on defense and none of this bullshit 2DL crap that N-E-V-E-R gets pressure. This is prime pickings and our coaching / players should be able to pull this one off by 9+ points with the game really being out of hand by end of the half. Their passing game is without their best receiver and as slash said, OTs are week. Red Rider should be in survival mode and moving to much.

I know this is a lot to ask but PLEASE DEAR LORD, help our coaching staff put together a game plan and make some "game time" adjustments.

Well they can’t run and we keep running two DL an unable to stop run. Which inept line shows up?

I truly think the offense will play better. Last week was a tail of two half’s. MR played like the newbie his is in the first then I think settles in later on. Yes, those TDS were blown coverages but he made them pay and that what you need to do. I want to see us “run the ******* ball” and use more TEs passes. We have to get this going to free up the WRs who are having trouble getting open.

I think we win and win big. God knows we need some positive talk round here lol

but i did pick up the bengals tight end in every league i could this week .

Could you define this a little better? Throwing longer or further than 1 year as long as we have the lead, could result in a lot of wins as game clock winds out, as long as he didn't get intercepted for run back lead change or hunger pangs take over.........................

Marino, who reached up and grabbed Lloyd with his left hand as he lay on the ground, didn't get up for several minutes. He eventually walked from the field, and with 43 seconds left in the quarter, he was throwing on the sideline. He left the field for X-rays, revealing a bruised sternum but came back and was ready to play if something happened to replacement Bernie Kosar.

Throughout the week Lloyd had said he would "knock [Marino] into next week" if he had the chance. When asked after the game, Lloyd said nothing. Just about everybody else said it was a clean hit. Some even joked about it, but nobody was joking when Marino was laying on the field.

"I'll be all right," said Marino, who didn't return to the game. "He had a free run at me from about 20 yards. He's a good player and when that happens, you're going to get hit hard. That's part of the game."
 
Stewey, to bad that part of the game has been taken away. The league would jail a player like LLoyd this day and age. Look what they did to DEBO, handcuffed him. I'm afraid those days of good football are long gone to never return. Allthough the good O'l days of kicking the bungles ***** is near, just two days away.

Talk about a game you would think would be outstanding. Tomlin and his coaches should be on the hot seat as well as Bungals coaches, The players should feel all kinds of pressure looking at 0-4, or will we see the same game plan as the first three

We're awful but the Bungles are awfuller. We'll win but it will be embarrassingly close.
 
Not sure we are not awfuller than then Bengals honestly. They lost by 1 to Seattle, 4 to the Bills, and got steamrolled by the 49ers. With that being said they have scored more than us and given up less points. We would have been steamrolled by SF if they did not try to hand us the game. They have the 3rd ranked pass offense which is going to cause us problems. This will certainly not be an easy game

All I want to see is some life in our running game. Will the James Conner we know and love finally show up? Will the O-line start opening holes in the run game and give Rudolph a little time? I think our D will be good - maybe even great - as the season progresses. It's this O without Ben that I'm concerned about.

And will anyone on the coaching staff or front office admit Barron has been terrible? They finally did with Moncrief, but seems there's still some serious denial regarding Barron. Or maybe he'll flip a switch and start playing better? He's the big question mark right now.

For some reason I think it was McFadden who knocked them out but memory could be off

I just miss Steeler Football. Run to set up the pass. tough defense. get a lead. run to run out the clock. tough defense that will stop the other team. Noll football Cowher Football.
