Cleveland's brand shiny new Offensive Coordinator is "OK" with not making any offensive calls during games this season.

Pep Hamilton OK with not calling plays in Cleveland

That team is SUCH a ******* train wreck. Obviously the coaches and coord JUST go there for some quick cash. It's like stopping by a ATM machine by a porn shop. Ya, you're ashamed, but you really want some money.

So who exactly will make the calls? Their experienced QB? I'm assuming it is the HC. Or possibly it is Jonah Hill guy. Why do you even have an OC if he doesn't cal;l the palys?

Well, I guess since Hugh is known for playcalling, etc. he wants to keep that part of the job; it isn't unprecedented. Coordinators sometimes keep the play calling on their side of the ball when they become head coaches.

So, it isn't that unusual out of hand.

But it is the Browns, so you are probably right: most likely a dumpster fire on its way.

When the GM got busted texting the coaches during a game, you just know he was giving "orders" for game-time decisions from the owner. That is beyond weak.

"Hue".... will be making the calls. That will undoubtedly please Chad Johnson.

Pep Hamilton is a pretty experienced dude. If they weren't going to have him call plays they should have called him the assistant HC or something. To me the guy who makes the calls is the OC or DC. Not the guy who prepares the unit throughout the week.

Thought maybe the fire from the river spread, to the dumpster(s). WHAT A ******* ORGANIZatION !!!!!!!!

PS They need johny bench more than ever now curapp

Hue might be a really good hire. I'm not discounting the fact that it's Cleveland but sometimes Coaches do better when they've had a chance to reflect for a few years. Plus he does really know the division.

It was announced the day after the hire that hue was keeping the playcalling... I mocked him then and I mock him now... if you are going to HC, then be the damn HC... if you want to playcall then stay an OC. it almost never works where a guy does both... because he is neglecting something... Idiot move froma pre failed HC and a **** stain of an org. They ought to just fold.. quit pretending to be a real team, because they are not...

Bruce Arians says hello.

Didn't Jackson state that he would be running the offense? I didn't even think they would hire a coordinator.

Hey, JUST give the guy a chance.........LOOK what happened when they fired bill, he went on and given the chance and turned his new organization around..........****

That pile of burning **** is far too big for a dumpster, it's spilling over starting to cover the entire state of Ohio. Maybe we should just burn Ohio to the ground and replace the whole state with a forest or something useful.

If you leave meat on the grille too long - it will burn...

bem,........ if you would just keep your meat in a "warm place",.............coarse that could cause a "burn" too......

CLEVELAND, land of the burning meat, along with baltimore............

move all the cemetery's and golf courses to Ohio.

Isn't everything about the **** stains a dumpster fire. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure they have had something like 25 starting quarterbacks since we drafted ben and I don't remember but the number of head coaches they have had since we started with Chuck knoll is asinine. Anyone have those exact numbers? They need to drop a bomb on that entire city, starting with the **** stains.

Since they came back to the nfl in 99 they had 25 starting qbs 9 head coaches 9 gms 6 or 7 team presidents and 3 owners ... In 16 years lol

Like I said, drop a ******* bomb on that city starting with the **** stains. Better yet, wait till they are hosting the rats before the bombs start dropping.

"Factory of Doom" how so true it is. My thoughts go out to the TRUE LOYAL browns fan. I feel for them as to how they are fed the product.

Laugh at the organization and all their SHlIT happenings, but can't fault the true loyal fan.

How are you an offensive coordinator not making any calls? Only in Cleveland

To say this is a dumpster fire is too kind and sanitary. I think it is more like a Porta Potty fire.

I should send in a resume for ST coach. I could probably do it, make $100k for a year, then get fired.
I was in Toledo over the weekend for a regional meeting of my company. I rep Steelers wherever I go. Got into the elevator once, there were two men and a women in there, the woman sees my jacket and says "You a Steelers fan?" Now I'm in Browns and Lions territory, plus it's a hotel so you never know where people are from anyway. I said "Yup, big time." She says "What do you think of the Bengals?" I said "I think they're a bunch of poorly coached ******** who only know how to play dirty." (ding) "My floor, have a good day." Left them slack-jawed.

Here is all I have to say about the Cleveland Browns ... when I read the thread title, "What a ******* dumpster fire," I immediately knew what the topic would be.

How are you an offensive coordinator not making any calls? Only in Cleveland

Or Arizona, Washington, Denver, Houston, New Orleans, Tennessee (with Whisenhunt), San Fran (Chip Kelly), Kansas City, Green Bay (McCarthy retook playcalling duties).

Buffalo and Minnesota the headcoaches call the defense...This isn't a new concept for the league people.
