Mark Ingram would fit well, although his suspension could steer Steelers in other directions.

We could trade Bell this year and stockpile our draft picks and make a packaged deal for Barkley. ..Maybe. whatcha think. :)

How much is Ingram asking for?

The 28 year old had 1,214 yards rushing at 4.7 yards per rush and 12 touchdowns. Not too shabby as a pass catcher either, with 416 yards at 7.2 per catch.

I'd rather have him if he's much cheaper than the Me'Von in his final season who will start the season rusty due to holding out. .

david jhonson will ask the same as Bell

Draft one and spend on defense

Unless you can get David Johnson for a price you're comfortable with, sell him on being the next Le'Veon

If we could get Johnson for around 10 million per, I think that would be a steal. Someone is going to pay Bell next year but it won't be the Steelers.

Conner/Samuels/3rd round rookie will be the depth chart next year.

Pipe dream. He won't settle for that

If Conner and Samuels are the real deal, I would go after a speedy/quick back. That is something the guys we have don't bring to the table.

Easiest position to adjust from college............... running back. 1.32 you get your next workhorse back. Then you use Leveon's money to fill holes and sign your own guys.

It very well might be the route they go.

We don't need a back this year, and I hope the coaching staff give Conner and Samuels a chance to see what they've got.

Then if needed draft a back next year. There may be quality in the 2 or 3 round.

It was significant enough to cost him a whole season dingbat.

you're absolutely retarded if you think he won't command top dollar on the market, because "gosh, he missed the majority of a season because he broke a wrist!". it's not a broken leg, it's not a torn up knee or achilles, it's a wrist. general managers would get excorciated publicly if they tried to lowball him because of a wrist. Wake up, numbnuts.

I agree. I don't think the Steelers need to acquire a back this year. I'd rather them focus on the defense. The offense looks great right now and the team has a lot invested in it. We need to improve the defense because it will be very difficult to hang our hat on scoring more points against the opposition in shootout-type games. Eventually, the other team will make a stop, and, against the better defensive clubs, they could hold us down. So, another linebacker or secondary would be a big boost.

Go after some more LBs or DBs or one of each. With MeVeon money, find as close as you can to Shazier. Dupree could stand to be replaced too. Draft a RB.
