We need an efficient game from #7

Ben has to be near the tops in the league for having his passes batted down/up. Seems to happen pretty often. That being said, that is a little bit on OL too. If a defender is going to jump, the OL needs to make sure you cut that guy immediately to make sure they know that's going to happen every time they try it.

Yeah the audible to a pass was stupid there, but he didn't call a pass play every time, that does come from the sideline. .

You are correct of course, Haley/Tomlin made some horrible calls when Ben wasn't trying to be hero.

With all the questionable stuff we got the W on the road against a great defensive team.

I want to know where are the play action passes, that's a big part of establishing a run, did we even call one play fake? We run the ball down their throats with the spread O, then go with the bigs and one wr and throw it.

One of Jesse James catches was a pump fake by Ben , I think he even fooled the cameraman.

In the final series the 7 yard pass to Eli (or was it ayers?) Was from play action

I hate the empty backfield always. If Bell or even Williams is back there you have to at least respect a run.

This! I've been screaming this all year long!

That's the sole reason I hate splitting Bell out

Call me crazy but I think they kept a lot of the offensive playbook stashed yesterday. Probably to keep it away from Oldcheat Mcasshole

I was just glad to see that the one time he rolled out to pass, it paid off. I think it was a planned play rather than a scramble.

He used to do that time. But it's gotten to where it's almost painful to watch him do that now (and maybe painful for him, too).

The sad thing about that is Rodgers is only 1 year younger yet still has a set of wheels on him.

It's either because everyone is different or because of all the hits he took under Arians.

Let's see, Ben had to start as a rookie.
Rodgers was benched what, 3 years behind Favre? of course he has endured a lot less.

How can you even compare both their ages without considering their different paths?

Ben was never even close to being the most sacked QB but his style exposed him to a lot of punishment. I cant really expect more than 3 more years of elite level of play or possibly him evolving into a pure pocket passer (which aint gonna happen)
