Agreed. However, I believe both Bradshaw and Ben would have excelled in either era. Ben is tough enough that he would have done well in the 70s and Bradshaw would have had much better numbers with the new passing rules of today.

Ben would have had to retire years ago if he took some of the hits that Terry did....

Back then you could literally clothesline the QB and take his head off and it was not a penalty.

Can't compare the different eras. He is BY FAR the best of this era and second does not matter.

I watched Bradshaw play under a different set of rules (hitting, holding, locking up WRs, etc.). Compared to todays game, it was bloodsport.

Terry didn't say it himself but even he admitted that Ben has had to deal w/ FA and all the turds (was referencing AB and Bell) that come in and out all the time, while he won his last Super Bowl w/ the same players he won his first SB with.

It is kind of tough to compare the eras, and Bradshaw was the most clutch on the biggest stage, but I'd probably give the nod to Ben. Not that I'm biased or anything.
