Cowher, who coached the Steelers from 1992-2006 and won Super Bowl XL, weighed in on the current state of the team and his thoughts on quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger‘s future. Can't watch at work. LOL can someone hit the highlights I'm very curious about Bill's take.

He does not think they are ever too far away from the SB. He knows the organization will not make rash decisions. He thinks Ben will be back and can still play, but the cap is going to force hard decisions.

Ok so nothing to see here. Kinda what I expected.

You know as well as I that Coach Cowher would never speak harshly or direct truth of anything STEELERS. He has way to much "coach speak" in him and I'm talking the kind that makes sense and not a "ism" type speak. Add in the fact that he ONLY made popcorn at home while watching movies........... NOT while game planning.

I agree. I just thought he might weigh in on Ben and why it might be best to move on. I know he will never say a word against Tomlin.

A truer statement never made. I have zero.

After this years 11-0 to 1-5 crash and burn, how could you really get amped up again. Our playoff games have been horrific and our wins have been against bums. Well the bungles did gift wrap one for us,just because they're dumb with no self discipline.

I'll be hard pressed to not be a Doubting Thomas.

No. The only issue Donahoe had were. 1. Not Keeping loved players who got too pricey and walked in Free Agency. See Woodson and Kevin Greene. 2. The pick of #81.. receiver.. when Cowher gave the ultimatum of its him or me. They butted heads over picks.

IMO if we griped about cowher, It was all over Kordell, and his failures as a QB and how Cowher stuck with him. Fans also hated the Kent Graham experiment . There were also gripes about Marty Ball. But it worked. All he needed was a good qb. and viola.

Nah, Miami and KC were solid wins in 17. Miami rolled us earlier in the year, and KC was well thought of.......Of course, we did get rolled by NE in the AFCC.

18-16 vs KC all fieldgoals. Miami was certainly a better win before we got torched by the cheats. Which just made me angry again looking at the statistics...haha.
