In March, Washington signed safety Sean Davis to a contract that included a $2 million signing bonus. That did not turn out well.
Davis is being cut today, a league source tells PFT.

The 26-year-old Davis spent the last four years with the Steelers, who selected him in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft. But Washington was apparently not impressed with his performance in camp this year, and seventh-round rookie safety Kamren Curl could get the roster spot that was penciled in for Davis.

>>> Looks like he's now an official bust.

$2 mil richer and back where he wanted to be anyway. Hahahahaha. Again, you embarrassed yourself without anyone’s help.

Someone should explain to him what a bust is.... nah nevermind he wouldn't grasp anything you told him anyways. Cooch reminds me of that one Bill Murray movie Meatballs.

That’s an insult to the original “ meathead”. Archie Bunker says hi.

We've got him back now. Sure, when your 2nd round pick is CUT in his prime he's a BUST which is what I said when we drafted him. I'm okay with Davis as our 3rd safety, I think I said that before. And remember what I said about Edmunds too. He's a disappointment What if Davis who was cut and left for tea beat Edmunds out? Bawahahaha. I actually thinK Davis is better on the blitz and a better pass defender in comparison to Edmunds.

As for the Washington football team, what a mess,

Know your topic Dumb ***. Davis wasn’t cut. His contract expired and was a free agent. Pitt had traded for Fitzpatrick due to Davis being IR’d. They let Davis test the market and he got Washington to give him more than Pitt was willing to offer a #3 S.

And you have never said Davis was fit for the club at all. Your propensity to practice revisionist history is boring and typical of your ignorance.

The contract should be as follows:

Washington is hit with $2M in dead money from the signing bonus.
Steelers pay his $2M salary this year.

Not as good a deal as Bobby Bonilla got with the Mets, but not bad.
