Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller suffered an ankle injury on Tuesday, a source told ESPN. There is fear that it's a season-ending injury, according to sources.

Miller was hurt near the end of practice with what one person called a "freak" injury. The team was evaluating Miller's MRI.

Miller, 31, the former No. 2 pick out of Texas A&M, had 33 solo tackles and eight sacks for Denver last season.

Broncos were practicing indoors today due to the blizzard in Colorado; they weren’t even in pads, they were practicing in shells. And near the end of practice Von Miller suffered the injury that now threatens to end his season.

I never wish injury on anyone but also know I can't control who is hurt and when we play them. I can be happy with the fact that we are catching a break when we play them.
