Updated salary cap -Steelers

after cutting him and taking 6M away you think he would sign for us at vet minimun? he'd sign for that for 31 other teams

Cap space right now is only top-51.

Once we do the draft, that will take up half the available space.

Once the whole filling out the roster to 53, plugging in the draft picks and replacing minimum salary camp bodies... you likely get $5 million in room.

In this day in age, you need most of that for injuries during the season and practice squads and misc. player expenses.

Just noticed that the cap information does NOT include Eric Ebron who probably is counting around $4-5 million this season.

So that's all our money. We might even have to restructure or cut some people during camp to give us injury space.

Yea, Ebron and Dangerfield need to be counted. Plus we have to factor in those 2 plus the 4 drafted players that will displace 6 additional salaries under the 51 line.

Steelers haven't restructured Tuitt or DeCastro nor extended Heyward. They have many ways they could create cap space if they want to. They
will only do what they need too, because the more you do this year just makes next year tighter.
