Unenthusiastic about the off season

I mean, I have always enjoyed coming on during the off season and reading about potential draftees or free agency activities. I really was hoping they decide to tank for next years draft with a solid QB class. We know that is not in their DNA.

My apologies gents and ladies for lack of properly using the forum this off season. Just tired of Tomlin and company p!ssing down our legs while trying to convince us it’s raining.

I have been like this for the last 2 off-seasons. I could not care less who they sign. It will be the same sorry outcome. I also don't watch the games like I use to either. The Steelers have become sickening.

The Steelers - with Clown-lin and Art II at the helm - are just not worth following like we used to. They don't deserve it, not anymore. Noll and Cowher had some down years, but you knew they had the vision to bring them back, to improve. We simply don't have that anymore, with Art II and Clown-lin. We are behind the times, we are not a leading team, not anymore. And Clown-lin gives us no hope of truly contending, by that I mean winning in the playoffs/advancing. He just befuddles around and practices his fancy quips...that ain't winning any real games.

Actually the last 6 games if you count the usual playoff loss.
The more I read the more it looks like less changes are coming.
I know Shades’ type and he’s the sort who doesn’t like change or new people. He’d rather deal with the ****tards he has than have to break in new ****tards, but at least they’re HIS ****tards.

No, the last 5 losses included the playoff game.
You’re just trying to make Tomlin look bad. LOL

Cowher managed to have that magical run in 05.... but if he stayed, we probably dont try to convert the O into more of a passing game and maybe never win in 08... his style died in 05... probably why he never coached again

You have to innovate and adapt... older coaches in the same place never have to do that... so we know next year the o will be a bunch of safe but ineffective plays.. the D will get beaten as teams figure out what the wrinkle of the season is, and we go back to the same stale defense... its just boring , really...

Chuck's Alzheimer's may have contributed to his problems, tough to say. But his '89 club showed he could still build a team; that upset win is Houston was a game for the ages. Woodson, Lake, Lloyd, Bubby, Hoge, Lipps all showed up for that party. And they were on their way for a win vs. Denver the next week. What a game.

Coolie said he had other obligations, Lunar said he was busy that night with HUGE order of sliders he has to get out (He is night shift at White Castle), BLITZ is waiting to see if BACON will be served, Fiji Mariner is only going if I show up to make a private exchange, more to come………………………
