ON a serious note.......WTF do these guys think ?? "i'm above the law and nothing will happen to me" entitlement.


He will be out today and all this will go away by fine and erased from his record if he behaves and completes 25 hrs puplic service.


Meanwhile in Mayberry mrs. prichett received a J-walking ticket and was fined $25.00 or three days in jail..........................

To me it's a big nothing burger. Suspended license is the worst of it.

Unless he's a felon, the firearm should be nothing. It's really unnerving to see so many states with ridiculous gun laws.

I've carried a holstered .45 in my glove box locked for years. No permit needed.

Of course I am in Florida. We tend to follow the constitution down here a tad more than other states.

Probably should change our motto from "The Sunshine State" to "The State of Liberty&Freedom"!

The suspended license thing is essentially nothing. It happens to a lot of people. What bothers me a bit is the fact the mug shot shows his DOB as January 12, and a lot of states have your license expire on your birthday as a reminder. If his license expired three months ago - what the ...?

The gun charge - did he have the thing out in plain view? If an officer pulls you over for speeding and your license is expired, you get a ticket. How would the cop even know of the gun?

I started saying that/realizing it about 10 years ago.

That and the 3 rules of texting when you go out at night:
1. To ESTABLISHED “booty calls”
2. To ask “where are you at?”
3. To ask for help

Never to try and hold conversation
 
If he had a legal, registered firearm, then probably pled down to a misdemeanor.

But the combination of stupid. Out at 2:00 a.m., no current license, firearm in the vehicle, so make sure you have pot in the car, reeking of marijuana scent and just to make sure you get police attention, drive 85 mph or faster.

Layne never did **** for us to begin with... he and the jackass responsible for drafting him should both be going out the door another wasted pick for a team that only drafts.. doesn’t believe in free agents.. well that’s fine... then don’t draft bums! layne can go on the scrap heap with thomas, burns, Davis, it’s goes on n on...
