The big draw was the afternoon game with 46 million people. The Steelers game was 32 million. A good night for NBC Sunday Night Football is 18 to 19 million. If the Steelers game would have been a playoff game against the Ravens, I'm sure the numbers would have been higher. KC was probably not the draw, but it was a playoff game.

My guess is that this was a happy accident to have to move the Steelers game to night. I read somewhere that this was a test for the League and the networks to continue to do this.

The Steelers rating is pretty impressive....

until you realize it represents only 10 percent of the country.

Even if you factor in people watching in bars, hotel rooms, etc., it's kind of amazing for diehards to believe that the vast majority of the U.S. couldn't care less.
