I am quite interested in what way the guy changes his tone on light of the shooting.

He says he tore up his old one...

Is this going to be a less brash and toxic Trump, who focuses on solutions and tamped down rhetoric? or does he double down and go scorched earth?
 
If I’m betting real money I go scorched earth.
 
he's going to make @IndySteel tirades look like a toddler's babblings.
 
The President is supposed to be the leader for all Americans.

I know that he wants to go hard at his many opponents, but I would love to see him become gentler and more hopeful like JFK (who's nephew has been kinda quiet lately).

I'm hopeful that he acts Presidential, full of life and respectful even of those who dislike/hate him, so that he gives these folks a sense that they can do better than the divise, violent Democrat bs.

More Ronald, less The Donald.

My impression from last nights appearance by Trump...

He looked and acted like that bullet took the testosterone right out of him.

I hope its just temporary.

I think he wanted to look stoic and show he was ok without taking any thunder from the convention and his speech at the end

I'm sure he now understands how the SS inexplicably left him wide open to assassination.
He has to be worried about his safety.
