Absolutely!!! Troy without question the best strong safety of his era. Defensive player of the year and two time Super Bowl Champion. Numerous All Pro selections and made the All Decade team. FIRST ROUNDER NO DOUBT!!!!

If you look at the list, I may be biased, but Troy and Faneca are the only two on that list that you could argue are the best to ever play their position, absolutely zero reason they shouldn't get in

Faneca isn't getting in with Hutchinson and Boselli on the list. Us Steeler fans know that he's the best damn lineman on the list, But Troy is a first ballot HoF inductee, and they're not going to have two Steelers in the same class. Faneca and Hines Ward will have to wait a while. Especially with Reggie Wayne and Isaac Bruce in this class.

Faneca has more All Pro and Pro Bowl selections than Hutchinson...how on earth could they justify Hutchinson over Faneca when they played in same years/era?

Faneca made double the All-pro teams that Mawae made, and Faneca made more pro bowls, and they put Mawae in. I know one is a center and a guard.

There is definite bias against Steeler players only because so many are in the hall. Peter Cook admits he believes there are too many Steeler in the HOF. The thing is, championships are the product of superior players so this whole limiting the number of deserving players skewer reality. That's how you get a guy like Fred Dean who was only a 2 time All Pro and 4 time Pro Bowler over an 11 year career make it over LC Greenwood with better credentials.
