Trice - injured AGAIN

Cut him.

It's all over the interweb (his new injury)...
Some people just can't catch breaks. Its unfortunate. Hopefully he has a backup plan outside of football because if this were to be his last days on a football field before being released i dont see a team bringing him in for a workout in the future knowing his history. Im hoping this is just a minor setback for his sake.

That's crappy all around.

So many here were hoping that he could elevate into contributing to the team in an area of chronic need.

I hear yaz Confluence, but in this case you can’t hold a spot for him. Probably time to move on.

I wish him the best, and also realize we don’t know the extent of his injury. If it causes significant time lost you have to cut bait and make a new cast.

Sounds just like Senquez Golson. Y’all remember that guy who was picked in the second round of the 2015 draft by the Steelers and never saw the field.
Trice was often injured at Purdue so the writing was already on the wall.
How the hell did he even get hurt? Most likely climbing down from the trainers table..
Needs to get on with his life’s work.
This is when having that free degree helps but you kind of doubt he really got it from Purdue a great school.
You hope his parents were smart enough to encourage him to take advantage of that opportunity rather than just looking at the money alone. Oh well!

He simply is looking for IR to save him from the slim chance of getting on the field and facing Chase again.

Late round pick
Couple very brief flashes
Always injured
Definitely not a big loss in any way

Just another camp darling type of late round guy people were rooting for that never really materialized into anything

He’s no Beanie, that’s for sure

The last time Cory Trice was out there, he was getting shredded by Ja'Marr Chase for 96 yards on 10 receptions...though better than the performance we had this season.

Thier is a reason someone with his measurablables was available in the 7th round. It was worth a shot

Fully agree, you have to kick the tires before you buy……… or something like that

Tomlin falls in love with these guys all the time…should we talk about Dri Archer
Not sure what one has to do with the other except they both rarely played, but Archer's lack of play time wasnt because of injuries that i recall. He just wasnt good at the NFL level. How was Tomlin in love with him?

You're kind of new here. The Dri Archer thread was historic.

If you have a free week - go back and read all 163 pages...

Yes SIR berm, but No Karode didn’t realize the reference.

Archer was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G in all aspects of the football world. They even made a series after him “Archer”.

At least Stephon Logan did something, despite his little man size.

The Ravens just traded a CB meaning they are looking to pick a guy up... we should figure out who they are trying to trade for and undercut them🤣

Tomlin wanted a Darren Sproles and a Wes Welker, but most undersized players dont translate to the NFL..

Yes SIR, I remember very well. Archer was a “luxury” pick at the time as we had more pressing needs elsewhere.
